THIS IS AN URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:
The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic is canceling our planned gathering at Upper Senate Park scheduled for 10 a.m. this Saturday, January 27, and will instead focus our efforts on the appearance at the Navy Memorial that morning by Jane Fonda for a so-called antiwar rally there.
We will gather at 9 a.m. and stay through Fonda's scheduled appearance at 10 a.m.
Please bring American and service flags, signs bearing messages of support for our troops, as well as signs denouncing Fonda and her band of traitors.
The following is the announcement by the sponsor of Saturday's larger 'antiwar' rally on the Mall about the Navy Memorial event:
10am: Women Say Pull Out! Women's Convergence for DC Mobilization
Join Jane Fonda, Susan Sarandon, Congresswomen Maxine Waters and Lynn Woolsey, Rhea Perlman, Eve Ensler, Mimi Kennedy, Q'orianka Kilcher, the Co-founders of CODEPINK and many other amazing women. Other co-sponsors include: National Organization for Women, V-Day, WAND, Feminist Majority, Feminist Peace Network and WATER. Don't forget your PINK!
Where: Navy Memorial, 7th and Pennsylvania NW
When: Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 10am We will rally at 10am then meet up with the UFPJ rally and march!
The enemies of this nation are feeling so emboldened that they are confident enough to bring Jane Fonda to a MEMORIAL for the United States Navy. During the Vietnam war Fonda traveled to North Vietnam and posed with our enemy on an anti-aircraft battery used to shoot down our Navy pilots.
Please join us in protecting the honor and memory of the sailors and pilots of the U.S. Navy from Jane Fonda and those who support the enemy in this war.
As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
We will be downtown all day as we also plan to counter-protest the 'antiwar' march after their rally on the Mall
Dress warm, it's going to be cold but dry.
Metro stations close to the Navy Memorial include Archives/Navy Memorial on the Green and Yellow lines, Gallery Place on the Red, Green and Yellow lines and Federal Triangle on the Orange and Blue lines. Street parking and garage parking is available.
I'll try to make it.
Her conversion to Christianity was bogus, too.
She 'converted' to Gnosticism and the Gospel of Mary Magdelen, --ie. false doctrine for feminists.
Didn't she claim to recently have been born-again Christian?
Maybe we can get Sen. Webb to join her.
Please get photos and post them.
Boy I would love to see pictures of Hanoi Jane when She sees a Huge Turnout from Our Side!!! It would be something she never experienced the last time.
God Speed all the Freepers who go. Give her Hell!!!
Brilliant.
>>>Didn't she claim to recently have been born-again Christian?<<<
No. She claimed to be a Gnostic Feminist:

Sorry I can't be there, it's my drill weekend. I'll be there in spirit.
Jane has no shame.
God bless you kristinn, if there was any way for me to get to DC I would, but AZ is a bit out of the way. Thank you for doing this and I can only pray that Freepers will go out of their way to get every warm body they can find to come and help protest this b*tch. I can not even begin to tell you how irate I am over this.
As I have suggested before, it is time to consider citizen-arresting Jane Fonda for Treason. She is certainly giving aid & comfort to the enemy. Unfortunately, I don't live out there.
EAGLES UP!
So would I. However we've only had two 'maybes' chime in so far on this thread. The D.C. Chapter stalwarts will be there. As for the rest, I can only hope more will turn out.
I hope you can make it. It's important.
Kristinn, will you guys have extra signs and flags? My resources are limited since I'm in a hotel room.
Hope you can make it. It'll be cold but no snow. There's a coffee shop nearby if you have a hangover :-)
I am so f'ing mad. That bitch.
Yes. We'll have flags and signs.
