A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.

Good morning!
Are you still in Houston? I hear you all are getting what we have up here. I need to call my daughter in Houston today to make certain they are ok.
We sure do need "warm" today. This is probably the longest winter weather in Texas I have experienced in over 20 years.
usually we get ice and than few days later it's back up to the 50's or higher.

Yes..so I have missed what's going on at my house.I am planning to go home this weekend and by then the freeze will be over...until the next one. It is supposed to get above freezing today so our hit will be much less than so much of Texas

A warm fuzzy good morning to all who have dropped by so far and other good FReepers. Cold here too. Plans are to take 4 dogs w/friend John to do first cross country skiing of year.Need to dig out all the "stuff"
I spent MOST of yesterday at computer. Simply cannot do that today, but want to wish you all a day that is warm in your heart if not in the weather

W w warm Wednesday? hope you are in Hawaii making comments like that! It was down to 21 degrees here in Mesquite (north of Las Vegas) last night. I see over in Iraq it topped out at 51 for the day (we're 12 hours apart). Someone explain that global warming again?
