My state MUFON director called my attention to this comet just today. I'm taking my MOHO out to view the phenomenon from Roan Mountain tonight!

Saw it last night during my drive home, right after dusk. The photo you posted is precisely what I saw last evening. Very cool.

Cool photo. Wonder what my chances of seeing it here in Illinois are.

Thanks for the post. I was out walking my dog and stargazing last night. Didn't know there was a comet up, but will try tonight. I'm on the west coast in the great white north and had a beautiful, clear sky, and no storm, for the first time in months it seems.

I was going to look last evening, but I was under the impression it was closer to the horizon than it is. I live on the side of a small mountain and my view of the north and west is obstructed.

I have places to go this evening so I'll be checking it out.
