Looks like the Weather Channel is going to follow CNN into oblivion.

What a solid business model.

Both networks were founded by that liberal lunatic Ted Turner.

That about says it all.......

"Emotion-based" anything is never going to be rational.

This is the entire engine behind liberalism. It is also the only method hucksters need employ to get people to part with their money.

Should that surprise anyone here?

Really, why anyone with a computer would watch The Weather Channel?

lol. Yep... it's the "my body, my weather" form of programming. "I feel it is bad weather today. I feel that tomorrow will be another day". "I feel for those suffering in Colorado with XX amounts of snow; I feel they must be feeling the deleterious effects of Global Snowing, in that they are bearing the brunt of Global Warming; it's not fair! I feel that we should all be demanding SOCIAL JUSTICE!"

Heidi Cullen is a total "global-warming is all our fault and we're doomed" leftwing moonbat.

I noticed their global warming reports a few months ago.

--go to the NOAA website--that's where all the weather info comes from anyway--

If forecasters can't reliably tell us what will happen in two to three months from now, why would anyone trust that they know what will happen with the weather in 50 or 100 years

Hell, I don't trust their 7-day.
First their "It Could Happen" BS series, and now that Global Warming chick.
Yeeech.

"Emotion-based" anything is never going to be rational.

It's the same as the wind-chill temperatures we now hear. It's "X" degrees outside with a wind speed of "Y" that means it feels like "Z". Some people just use the wind-chill number as the actual temperature, drives me nuts.

Cullen's diatribe, titled "Junk Controversy Not Junk Science," called on the American Meteorological Society to start requiring all meteorologists to tow the line on liberal interpretation of global warming, or else lose the organization's certification.

Unbelievable.

The beauty of the weather channel was tune in get the weather and not get a political lecture.

We no longer watch the weather channel due to the PC they tout. We do use their on line services as they have better local radar and their hourly forecast is handy.

I think it was TWC that had a warning about planes causing Global warming last night. As my husband said, they're taking advantage of the warm weather in the east to scare-monger.

I feel your pain. Let's form a support group to empower all the diverse cultures who are feeling the intolerance of the weather. If we could learn to promote activism amongst the weather victims, we could enlighten the masses about the dangers of snow and gassy cows. There can be no social justice until we, the global community, are all equally walking, freezing, and starving. Viva Che Viva the Revolution!

Did I get them all?

I'm old enough to remember when the Weather Channel was actually about the weather. But then I'm also old enough to remember when MTV played music videos.

Cullen's degree in Near Eastern Religions should allow her to open up a new segment on The Weather Channel:

The Karma Forecast.........Bad Karma for most of the Mid-Atlantic States with ever increasing Good Karma for the Southeast...........
