MOSCOW: Russia's Strategic Missile Forces have conducted a successful test launch of an RS-20V Voyevoda (NATO codename SS-18 Satan) intercontinental ballistic missile, the forces' press office said Thursday.

The launch was made at 11:20 a.m. Moscow time (8:20 a.m. GMT), a spokesman said, adding that the missile, launched from Orenburg in the south Urals, successfully hit hypothetical targets on the Kamchatka Peninsula.

The launch was made to test the RS-20V's flight and technical characteristics to extend the service life of the R-36M2 missile systems to 20 years, the spokesman said.

"Before the launch, the missile had been in operation for 19 years," he said.

He said the RS-20V was a modernized version of the RS-20B.

The RS-20V Voyevoda was developed in Ukraine's design bureau Yuzhnoye. In 1988, the system, equipped with this missile, was adopted by the Missile Forces. The missile has a maximum flight range of 11,000 kilometers (6,840 miles) and a launch weight of 211 metric tons.

Interesting they have named this MIRV the 'satan'. Russia is described as part of the beast in Revelation as the feet of a bear. Revelations end times (rebirth of a new society under Christ) seems to go like this:

1) WWIII starts, 200 million enemy combatants and 1/3 of the world perishing by the sword. These are specifically stated numbers John states.

2) The beast destroys Rome. Revelations say that the beast has a purpose to destroy the 'harlot' that sits on top of her. The halot really must be Rome and the Catholic church, because the harlot commits adultery (on God) by selling to the merchants and kings of the earth linens of purple and scarlet, ivory, cedar, marble statues. Looking at a map of the countries of the beast all being European, Rome would stand in the way of this conquest. Keep in the mind the anti-christ is a kingdom. The beast will want to destroy any influence Rome would have on family values, mass murder and worship of the state. I believe strongly the beast is Rome because Revelations says the city destroyed sits on seven hills surrounded by water. Rome is one of only four or five cities in the world with this geography and is the only organization big enough to politically impact the beasts strategy.

3) The two prophets testify for three and one half years and are destroyed. Revelations insuates these are countries rather then people because it says the nations sends gifts to each other when they are destroyed. It goes on to say that the two witnesses miraculously come back to life. I believe this is America and Israel. The whole world (minues a few scant Western nations) would be overjoyed with our initial destruction. The beast (temporary alliance of nations) itself goes off into destruction (the USA has some hand in this I am sure).

3)A comet hits the earth. There are seven angels sounding trumpets. Three of these describe a comet impact of being first debris preceeding the comet hitting earth, causing some destruction and ionizing the atmoshphere red, like the color of blood. Then the comet itself hits in the ocean wrecking 1/3 of the boats on earth and killing 1/3 of the sea life. Then the final debris hits the earth from the comets tail with truck sized meteors hitting the earth. This either happens just before the beast is destroyed or just after.

Second interesting thing is that in Serbian translation of Bible there is no mentioning of "dragon" but -"beast" (Azhdaya) due to the fact that Dragons are positive beings for Serbs as somweath symbols of male principles, and female dragon, "Azhdaya" is beast.

Actually those SS-18 Mod 4's don't have to get that close considering they had ONE 25 Megaton warhead on them. Of course there were 8 of them aimed at Cheyenne Mountain.
