Many months ago, readers began asking me whether Barack Obama is Muslim. Since he identifies as a Christian, I said, "no," and responded that he was not raised by his Kenyan father.
But, then, I decided to look further into Obama's background. His full name--as by now you have probably heard--is Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. Hussein is a Muslim name, which comes from the name of Ali's son--Hussein Ibn Ali. And Obama is named after his late Kenyan father, the late Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., apparently a Muslim.
And while Obama may not identify as a Muslim, that's not how the Arab and Muslim Streets see it. In Arab culture and under Islamic law, if your father is a Muslim, so are you. And once a Muslim, always a Muslim. You cannot go back. In Islamic eyes, Obama is certainly a Muslim. He may think he's a Christian, but they do not.
Then, there are the other items in his background. As best-selling author Scott Turow wrote in Salon, Obama went to a Muslim school for two years in Indonesia. His mother, Anna, married an Indonesian man (likely another Muslim, as Indonesia is Muslim-dominated and has the largest Islamic population in the world).
And Obama has a "born-again" affinity for the nation of his Muslim father, Kenya, and his Kenyan sister. (Although Kenya is largely Christian, it has a fast-growing Muslim population that has engaged in a good deal of religious violence and riots against Christians. And Kenyan courts will apply Sharia law, when the participants are Muslim.) Wrote Turow:
Obama's father died in a traffic accident in Nairobi in 1982, but while Obama was working in Chicago, he met his Kenyan sister, Auma, a linguist educated in Germany who was visiting the United States. When she returned to Kenya in 1986 to teach for a year at the University of Nairobi, Obama finally made the trip to his father's homeland he had long promised himself. There, he managed to fully embrace a heritage and a family he'd never fully known and come to terms with his father, whom he'd long regarded as an august foreign prince, but now realized was a human being burdened by his own illusions and vulnerabilities. So, even if he identifies strongly as a Christian, and even if he despised the behavior of his father (as Obama said on Oprah); is a man who Muslims think is a Muslim, who feels some sort of psychological need to prove himself to his absent Muslim father, and who is now moving in the direction of his father's heritage, a man we want as President when we are fighting the war of our lives against Islam? Where will his loyalties be?
Is that even the man we'd want to be a heartbeat away from the President, if Hillary Clinton offers him the Vice Presidential candidacy on her ticket (which he certainly wouldn't turn down)?

I saw a video clip of this photo-op in Church.Barack clapped while singing hymns almost exactly like Hillary claps while singing hymns....like she has no spirit.
It was offputting.
But Clinton was elected pre-internet. That was a lifetime ago. The MSM cannot pull one over on the sheeple any more. That doesn't stop them from trying, but I don't believe an amoral charlatan like Clinton could get elected in this day and age. The only reason Hilary has any chance at all is because she's riding on Bill's coattails and all the liberals are wistful for the good ole days of the 90s when life was perfect...(or so they claim).
I agree with you. If he says he is now Christian, then we ought to accept that. Yes, I can be suspicious of his Muslim past, but I think in all honesty that if he says he's a Christian, then he is. I find it much more suspicious that as a Christian, he attends such a liberal church that it's hard to perhaps call IT Christian, at least orthodox Christian. And his liberal socialistic tendencies are more than enough reasons for me not to ever vote for him. I don't have to worry about his past; his present is more than enough cause for concern.

That is a long and wordy sentence that says really nothing at all. I don't care much for media-made celebrity politicians either, but anybody can run up a credit card, and having additional charges denied is done by a computer that works for the credit card company. Plus, credit cards exist with limits so low that a weekend in another town can run you over your limit. So you should just leave that out in the future because it does nothing to support the argument you are trying to make.
I don't think it is a question of where he was born, but to whom he was born. If he was born in Kenya to an American citizen who was there temporarily, I think he is "natural-born" in the sense that he has always had U.S. citizenship.

IMHO Obama is the sacrificial cow... all we are talking about and the media is talking about is who will be the next democrate candidate for president. All the focus is on the democrats! We get a smatter here and there of who will be the republican candidate, but they are old story McCain and Juliani, nothing new here folks, move along.
If we have 2 years of this, only democrate candidates are going to be on the lips of the voters, with a hohum oh yeah with the republicans. We really don't have anyone to garner the media's attention nor the attention of the voting public.
Obama is hugely charismatic and I'm sorry to say that a large part of the voting public go directly for the charisma. And if the media loves him, are we really going to hear the negatives? Only if Hillary directs it.
Want to bet? Islam is working day and night to undermine and destroy America. It is their #1 goal. The media will unwittingly assist Obama all the way, convinced he would be the "first black president", despite coming from native African Muslims rather than the persecuted descendants of African slaves in America, like Condolezza Rice. He is a phony, and a proven liar, and 100 times more dangerous than Hillary Clinton.

Not only very liberal as a rule, but the one he attends - Trinity UCC - seems to exist mostly for racial activism, bashes Bush freely while exalting Sharpton and Jackson.
Let us fast forward to January 2009, at the podium in front of the Capitol Building, where "President Obama", having just uttered the words "so help me 'god'", walks to the front of the podium, raises both of his arms, and his first words as POTUS are Allah akbar
