Was Barack Obama serious or was he just joking when he told Maureen Obama that he was sensitive about his ears? Listen HERE (fast forward to about 7:35) and decide for yourself. Is there also a VIDEO clip of this incident. The expression on Obama's face would probably reveal the answer.

Ross Perot had those big ears and he got a lot of mileage out of the puns for that... A perfect example showing how "green" Obama is. He does not have the political savvy to play on it, instead, oh poor me, don't be mean to me like all the other bullies were.

Was Barack Obama serious or was he just joking when he told Maureen Obama that he was sensitive about his ears?Already we have an insight into Obama's vulnerability to his personal shortcomimngs.
Then when "you know what" begins to fly he will began to fade like the darkness does at the first blush of morning light.
Thin- skinned (about his personal shortcomings), overly sensitive about his lack of ease with which he is expected to lie unashamedly, concerning his knowledge and lack of his political prowess, he just ain't got the ability to lie, cheat and steal with the agility of a Clinton or an Al Gore which in this political environment is an absolute must.
Having said all that, my feeling is, Obama go back to the nursery, get off milk and learn to eat "you know what" and smile, always smile and keep on lying, cheating and stealing!
Then and only then will he be able to dodge responsibility, lie, cheat, steal and move about with the ease of a "night-crawling" Democrat.

Contrast this with the way Ross Perot made fun of his own big ears. During his run for the presidency, some pundit asked him for a quick answer to a complicated problem.
Perot responded, "I don't know. If anybody knows, I wish they'd tell me". Then putting his hands behind his big ears, he added the quip "Go ahead, I'm all ears".

What I don't get is that if he is so sensitive about his jughead ears why doesn't he just get a bit of plastic surgery and have them pinned-back? It's a fairly simple operation, and not that expensive.
Actually, wearing his hair a little longer would fill in some of that space and make the ears less noticeable. And that wouldn't cost anything.

He wasn't embarrassed, he was down right mean and threatening. He literally said to Mauren Dowd:
"I am PUTTING YOU ON NOTICE!" ... I was tweeted bad when I was a wittle kid, they made fun of my big ears all da time, boo hoo. Don’t you mention it or I will sick my handlers on you!
What a thin skinned woose baby. This guy is definitely not ready for prime time, he’s going to get eaten alive running for President or Vice President if he can't even handle someone pointing out the fact that he has BIG EARS and then resorting to veiled threats.
Clark Gable had big/huge ears, but you NEVER heard him wine like a little baby about it or threaten a women because he was a real man, not a cardboard so-called "savior". This lightweight guy who fancies himself presidential material couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag.
