Ex-President Carter Talks of Funeral Plans
breitbart.com ^ | 12/3/2006

Former President Jimmy Carter said Sunday he hopes to be buried in front of his home in Plains, the southwest Georgia town where he and his wife were born. "Plains is special to us," the 82-year-old said during a three-hour live C-SPAN2 interview. "I could be buried in Arlington Cemetery or wherever I want, but my wife was born here and I was born here."

As a child, Carter briefly lived next door to Rosalynn, and the two began dating in 1945. The couple married the next year and in July celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

"Plains is where our hearts have always been," he said.

Carter said there are also plans for a funeral in Washington as well as a brief display of his body in Atlanta.

Every American who had to live through his administration should be sure to boycott anything to do with Carter's funeral.

What are you going to do when they try to make it as big a deal as Reagan's funeral, and give people the day off, etc.

"He should book a phone booth to have the services."

You got it wrong. It will much more than a phone booth. All the Leftist will want to come.

I'd only go to make sure he's dead.

I give the bastard 3 more years of incompetant and disruptive meddling plus 1 year on death watch. 10/24/10.

Unfortunately, I fear the meddling c-sucker is going to outlive us all.

Stake the old coot out like a pin cushion..

"My liberal history professor said that he is the one of the best ex-presidents."

Obviously the "professor" isn't old enough to have suffered Carter. Nor has he talked to a few Iranians.

A Iranian friend told me the harrowing story of life because of Jimmy after the Shah was deposed. Her husband was assassinated, she fled with her children and were nearly killed by Kurds sympathetic to the Ayatollah.

Dear, dear. We don't want to be too harsh. After all when He was first elected we did not know him and I would not even have attended his funeral. But now, having seen him in action, I'd be more than happy to dance on his grave.

I'm planning to stock up on champagne for the occasion.

I need to get the champagne and dancing shoes concession for that one.
