A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

All are coming tomorrow and all are out of town...one 2 hours+ and one 3 hours + away. They are staying over..some in a motel.
I am on schedule..I did have a glitch that make not having my car a pain..The check out lady did not load a sack of my groceries into my cart.I had used a taxi for my big shopping trip ..I called and explained my car situation and the HEB grocery manager brought me the missing items late yesterday..along with a half-gallon of ice cream.
HEB is a Texas only grocer I believe. I am a big fan now because of their prompt attention and courtesy to me! He made my day.I was thankful!
My daughter in law is bringing turkey and doing the dressing. We just had a talk and we are coordinated.. I try to do as much as possible ahead because of my tremor..I get more shaky when I am doing things last minute and I am excited,happy... I have enjoyed a relaxed organizing schedule. I have a dish to put together and potatoes to scrub..so I'll BBL.

"Praise God from whom all blessings flow."
Happy Thanksgiving to all the wonderful folks in the freeper family who will be celebrating across the fruited plain.
As I'm now the matriarch of my family, I get first dibs on the crispy skin before the turkey ever leaves the kitchen.
Rank doth have its privileges!

I always get dibbs on the first serving of gravy. I love gravy on my potatoes and cornbread stuffing. I like turkey but I would be happy with stuffing and gravy.
Have a Blessed Thanksgiving, Leni.

Peeking over your shoulder, those roses look a bit like one of our bushes.
Joining you in Praises to the King of Kings. Worthy is the Lamb.
