Michael Richards exploded in anger as he performed at a famous L.A. comedy club last Friday, hurling racial epithets that left the crowd gasping, and TMZ has obtained exclusive video of the ugly incident.

For a 'Defiant' you shore follow the crowd of lemmings, fellow, with your politically correct, lame and cliche ridden obsession with something called "RACISM", which like "FASCISM" is pretty much meaningless and a synonym of "bad", and if you study the history of its usage, you'll find that, oh, '60 years ago it referred to some semi-scientific race theories, until it was happily adapted by the Soviet propagandists and then the Western leftists following the orders, to denigrate the white race and its imperialist (read 'bad') history and serve as a substitute for innocent and pervasive in every society ethnocentrism. Maybe ethnocentrism is 'bad', I don't know, but it has been throughout history unavoidable. But you know all that, don't you.
My thoughts exactly. Why isn't that part on the video as well? What he did was awful, but clearly he was angry for some reason.

You are missing my point.
Racial prejudices are a product of environment. And if the environment that produces racism doesn't exist, then a person will not be racist. Sure, that person may notice differences. But, they will not dislike that person if there is no reason to.
However, if you point out to a non-racist person that people are automatically prejudice, and that person "over there" that looks different is also prejudice, then that non-racist person may feel threatened.
Much like what we hear today from the Left.
I have no animosity towards blacks. However, I am constantly told that it is my fault and I am responsible for all of the social ills in the black community. And some have even suggested that I pay reparations for those ills.
And I am also told that it is okay for a black to make a racist statement, whether it is self deprecating or directed at whites or other minorities, because they or their family have been oppressed and suffered.
BTW, this was one of the major reasons why I left the Democrat party many years ago -- because of their toleration and perpetuation of racism.
Kind of a convoluted explanation but how I feel.
Watch that video again, I just did. After he goes into the "n****r n****r..." rant, he says "You see? You see?"
Now why would he say that? What would cause him to say "You see? You see?"
All we see in this video is him ranting and raving, we do not see what comes before it.
It seems to me, the most likely explanation is this heckler was calling Richards a racial slur first, which we do hear him say after Richards rant, and that Richards was simply pointing out that when he does it, when he uses the "N" word, it is taboo.
I do not believe anything the media says or shows when it is shown in such a small edited video clip. Show me the entire video of this and let me hear this heckler making unracist cat calls and then Richards going into this rant, and I will call Richards a racist to his face. But I will not and nobody should call him a racist until this video is shown in its entirety.
Second-rate comedians try to get laughs by saying things that are "shocking" or "controversial". Well, guess what? Saying the f-word no longer raises an eyebrow. So if you want lots of attention, be a white guy saying the n-word. Expect this to start a trend
One little piece of the story that caught my attention is that Richards is 57; time DOES fly.
So you call that part of the show part of his comedy routine? It was not part of his "routine."
Yes, but like I was saying in my post before, do not make any judgements until you see the entire video. What is shown here is just an edited clip of his rant. For all we know this heckler could have called him a racial slur first, and Richards simply responded in kind.
What if this heckler called him a "Jew sc*mbag white trash slave holding punk" and then Richards went into this rant? It would have been more understandable why he acted this way, but we don`t see what happens before his rant.
Remember, the media likes to manipulate, the media likes to enflame to suit their agenda. Like I pointed out in another example, the Rodney King video. All the media insisted on showing was him getting his lights knocked out. What you didn`t see was the cops trying to stop him driving 100 mph through residential areas, then him jumping out of the car and charging the cops three times (of which they had every right to shoot him each time) then him pulling his pants down and telling them to kiss his arse when they told him to get down on the ground. What you didn`t see was a man insane from PCP, all the media showed was the cops beating him into submission which directly led to the LA riots.
Richards is also a Freemason.
Hmmm....
This is interesting, though:
He was drafted during the Vietnam War and stationed in Germany as one of the co-directors of the V Corps Training Road Show. He produced and directed shows dealing with race relations and drug abuse; "This was a successful, educational operation, boosting the morale of our men and incorporating the arts into the service." He then spent two years in the Army developing educational skits and a couple more years "finding himself" at a commune in the Santa Clara Mountains; he drove a bus and developed a stand-up comedy act in 1979.
Vietnam era veteran and hippie commune dweller ... and "Dating Game" contestant ...
DRUDGE READER: 'I'm in the audience for tonight's David Letterman show and they just had Michael Richards on via satellite during Seinfeld's interview to discuss his on-stage tirade. He apologized and expressed remorse at his own behavior. He seemed genuinely upset and embarrassed.'
'SEINFELD' MELTDOWN: KRAMER ON LETTERMAN TO EXPLAIN OUTBURST
bttt
The irony, of course, is that most "African Americans" are not "African", except those, white, yellow, brown and black who had been born in Africa. Anyway, before they became Africanized like the flies, so to speak, they were "black". Late 1960s. "I'm black and...", etc. My buddy worked in a lunch joint at the time and says that the chef, or the short order cook, looked like a long lost twin brother of a soul singer popular at the time, and was occasionally mistaken for him, while he, my buddy, and all the waiters were white students. One of the choices for sandwich bread there was dark pumpernickel, which the waiters and customers preferred to call "black". Gimme pastrami on black, Robert. Well, Robert, the chef, objected to the use of the word "black" for bread, the word was reserved for African-Americans (before African-Americans existed, to make it even more confusing,) and I suspect our local "RACISM" obsessed here would have agreed with him.
I would have blown off the guy's head who said "cracker". He shouldn't have been able to walk out of there. Kramer was stupid. That other guy was a racist @sshole.
I defy you to make a cogent argument in response to any of my posts in this thread. How's that for Defiant! So far the only thing I've ever seen from you is poorly metered limericks and juvenile pictures "teehee...he said 'spic'". No one responded to the pictures that you posted above obviously seeking attention, so you had to get attention some other way, I guess. I won't play your game. I don't go around shouting racism. I think OJ did it, the Rodney King cops were rightly acquitted, Jesse Jackson is a race pimp, that civil rights laws extended to intra state activities were an unauthorized of the constitution, and that when racism does rear its head, people who are not hateful should speak out against it. Not jail dissenters or shoot them, just denounce them and fail to support them.
I read The Bell Curve when it was published (did you?) and accept its well-documented findings.
99 percent of the racism that I have seen over recent years comes from Dems--the racism that believes that blacks can't compete and so need to be protected by the state, the racism that people like Hillary, Byrd, and Webb can spout with impunity, the racism that says that Michael Steele must be a Democrat because blacks have to think like members of a race, not as individuals. The racism of abortion policy.
I saw what Richards said on that tape, and it was ugly and offensive. That was raw racism. That you and a few others here cannot see it for what it was is, again, revealing.
Either that, or she's dissing her fellow blacks, effectively saying "Hey, when it's MY money on the line, and I have to be sure the job gets done right..."
