Michael Richards exploded in anger as he performed at a famous L.A. comedy club last Friday, hurling racial epithets that left the crowd gasping, and TMZ has obtained exclusive video of the ugly incident.

I grew up in Clayton County in the 60's and 70's, just for a time/place reference.
And how about that friend of his, Cartwright?

Kramer made a major mistake, one of the worst a comedian can make: he wasn't funny. Add to that he offended some of his audience, and he's now got less fans who are willing to spend money to see his act. I don't know what was going on in his mind, but what he did was both offensive and stupid.
Maybe in his personal life he's a sweet guy, I don't know. If I had to make a choice, I'd choose to avoid him.
I for one would love to hear Jay Leno's reaction to that unfortunate performance. Leno--who has continued to do stand-up comedy even after taking his current Tonight Show gig--would be stunned at how Richards totally lost control of that stand-up comedy performance.
"What Richards did in attacking a heckler's race was imply that a black person had better not heckle him, it was not acceptable behavior."
You think that Richards ONLY lashed out because they were black?
That is quite a stretch.
Call him Borat and thousands of FReepers would defend his racist "schtick".
I want to know the names of the two racist hecklers in the audience who denigrated him as a white man. Clearly we all agree that it is wrong to use racist terms, not even as a response to someone using such terms, RIGHT?
Let's out them as racists too.
Rudy Ray Moore as seen in The Human Tornado doing his act:

He still performs and his act is largely the same.
Yankee is positive? Since when?
Seriously, I'm sure you can identify primordial usages of words like water or dirt but the original usage no longer applies if a common compound word was fallow for a few centuries and is then used with a new meaning. The original usage is hardly an anecdote. This is contrasted with a word such as "decimate" that has a clear origin from Imperial Rome.
My Methodist and Baptist, Scots-Irish and Anglo-Saxon ancestors never singled out the Presbyterians as the only true Rednecks.
Yeah but you go ino these comedy clubs, these comedians always pull this direct offensive stuff on the audience. For example, you`ll have some comedian single out someone, and he`ll ask personal questions then make fun of his physical appearance. Andrew Dice Clay was the worst, but I`ve been in comedy clubs where I saw a lot of comedians get just as bad.
I remember one comedian in particular John Mulrooney, who was getting heckled by this guy all night, and when this heckler went to the bathroom, this Mulrooney walked over to this hecklers table took his drink and sucked it down his throat and then spit it all back into the glass then put it back on the table, so when this heckler came back he drank it! Ewwww!
These comedy clubs can just get hardcore, and they will do stuff like that just as easily as yelling out racial stuff, and I`ve seen black comedians single out a black guy and call him the "N" word. Look at David Chapelle, he does it all the time on his TV show.
It seems to me it`s possible this black guy could have called Richards a racial slur in the first place which is why Richards responded that way, but of course you won`t have that focused on much like the Rodney King incident didn`t focus on Rodney charging the cops and pulling his pants down telling them to kiss his ass not to mention him beforehand refusing to pull over after driving 100mph for miles on end. All the media showed was his ass getting rightfully kicked.
I would be very interested to see that whole Richards video in its entirety and see if the media is once again exasperating the situation by only showing the part that fits their agenda, which is convincing people, blacks in particular, that all white people are racists and therefore you should vote Democrat even though the Republican party is a million times more for blacks than Democrats could ever hope to be.
Ping to read at home.
And as honest and happy as the day is long!
Liberals want affirmative action and quotas. Conservatives are for a colorblind society, in which people are judged for their own merit. Conservatives are also highly protective of free speech and personal liberty, which can mean that we tolerate hateful beliefs, statements and actions by people. Tolerating something as part of a free society does not mean encouraging or promoting it. Kramer can believe whatever he wants. We don't have to buy tickets to his shows, and now that people know more about him, much fewer people will. Similarly, you are entitled to fight to the death on your view that Kramer has done nothing wrong, but we don't have to pay attention to you any longer. You have revealed something about yourself on this thread, too.
Whites have the advantage because they are secure in their opinion of themselves while blacks are not.
Blacks can call whites 'cracker' or 'honkey' or 'white trash' and the whites simply don't care what the blacks think. The blacks have no power over them.
Blacks enslave themselves because they define themselves in terms of what others say about them. They care what 'whitey' thinks. They care what 'whitey' says. This gives 'whitey' power over them.
Shouldn't be that way, but it is.
Rehab is not a joke, and people suffer from real addictions. It helps people.
But there seems to be a trend that whenever some celebrity gets caught doing something illegal/offensive/stupid, they claim they are an addict.
When Halle Berry's husband got caught screwing another woman, he came out as a "Sex Addict" and had to go to rehab.
I bet Richards (aka Kramer) releases a statement through his publicist that he has Anger Management issues (or Drugs) by tomorrow afternoon.
So can any white person say "nigger" anymore in this country in any situation?
Is "free speech" totally dead regarding the "n" word?
