Thank you for giving us blanket amnesty for illegals.
Thank you for courageously abandoning our troops.
Thank you for handing victory to the terrorists.
Thank you for guaranteeing higher taxes.
Thank you for guaranteeing no more conservative judges.
Thank you for empowering John McCain.
Thank you for bringing back universal health care.
Thank you for endless investigations.
Most of all, I want to thank you for showing complete disregard for the tens of thousands who spilled their blood to give you your right to vote.
Your callous, self-serving apathy has guaranteed the government actions that you so bitterly complained about.
A final reality check to all you non-voters who still call your self conservative:
You are not a conservative.
You define un-American.
You define un-patriotic.
Please stop pretending to care about the troops.
To all you people who actually voted.
Thank you for defending our Constitution.
Where are you getting your information? The budget deficit is considerably more than it was when GW took office.

**CORRECTION** Reagan was not perfect, true enough, but REAGAN..did not have the ideal environment for conservative growth that our current president had for the past 6 years. There was never a question about Reagans conservatism.
Reagan's environment was similar to the environment of the last six years. There was no conservative majority in congress then and there is no conservative majority in congress today.
You are correct that Regan did talk conservatism more than our current president.
LOL, quite true.
I'm glad everyone is blaming me. I mean, it's obviously my fault that Nancy "commie" Pelosi will be speaker of the house. In NJ, we don't even get real conservatives. We get the occasional good guy like Scott Garret and libs with an R at the end.
How about if we get some leaders with some stones? Rebuke these socialists in power. I shouldn't have to choose between a socialist and and a super socialist.
Excellent suggestion, Cindy, and very well stated.
Before the rats start whining about the disadvantaged not having access to the internet to check their votes, I ask them to visit their local library and observe the usage of public computers - it is constant, appointments are made to use them. Access IS available.
Love the pic but i must tell you that Zell Miller votes republican these days and endorsed our governor purdue in television ads. that was very telling about the dimiwhits in georgia.
"You are correct that Regan did talk conservatism more than our current president."
I can't help you if you equate GWB's conservative credentials with Reagans. now, back to the subject of the thread......
I can't help you if you equate GWB's conservative credentials with Reagans. now, back to the subject of the thread......
The record on taxes, spending, judges and immigration and even campaign finance reform was worse then. The record on foreign policy was about the same.
Reagan talked conservative. Bush talks less so.
I can't help you with your cognitive dissonance even though I've tried.
"I can't help you with your cognitive dissonance even though I've tried"
Thank you for trying.
I voted Constitution Party
Maybe when the Republican Party gets back to the right (where it belongs and where they actually WON), I'll come back and vote for them.
I'll slow it down for you.
Conservatism is good.
Liberalism is evil.
As far as I'm concerned, you're suggesting that allegiance to good for good's sake is fruitless.
If that's not what you meant, clear it up without the D&D references. They mean nothing to me (sorry, not my thing).
Oh there are plenty of good solid Republicans I cacould vote for and many I did in the primaries after that a friend of Bush was the annointed like Lamar Alexander. I voted Independent on that one. When Fred Thompson retired I voted for Ed Bryant in the primaries. Ed had a good record Alexander was a Big Government shill. Remember Ed Bryant? But Bush had Alexander in mind a friend of the family ya know.
I can vote for Republicans like Ron Paul, Duncan Hunter, Dana, Rorenbacher {sp} Jimmy Duncan {who didn't vote solid Bush} just to name a few. Let me tell you something about ole Ricky Santorum you may not remember. He talks conservative values yet he campaigns hard for liberals like Christie Todd Whittman. Add to that voting the full Bush agenda which in many cases was plain old DEM politics does not make it conservative. Think maybe not having the guts to say no to Bush when he was wrong cost Rick his office?
Actually as the Resolution of War was written {Please note as written} I was against the war in Iraq due to the content of that resolution. Now I am not anti-war. I was not against taking out Saddam via military means including if necessary war. But did you even bother to actually read the Congressional Declaration of war? If so are you a U.N. shill then? You show me where in the Constitution of the United States our troops are authorized to be a military arm of the U.N. Had Bill Clinton pushed such a U.N. Resolution mandated piece of crap would you have been mad? I bet you would yet it's OK if George does it right?
Bush and congress need to get off their NWO and globalist high horse and remember that they were elected to govern the United States of America as set forth in the Constitution and not extend themselves in to try and form hemispheric governments and make binding treaties and trade agreements that endanger the future of this nation. I hold Dems as equal to blame as GOP.
I have seen what so call conservatives do with real conservative judges. Look at what the Judge Roy Moore threads have shown time and time again. If I had a nickle for every time members of this forum spit on real conservatives like Moore I would be a rich man.
I voted a mostly straight republican ticket (thankfully Alabama is blessed to have at least some real conservatives running).. but when that wasn't the case... I remembered a Bible verse or two... something straight party ticket people cringe over.
Romans 3:8 (King James Version)
And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
Romans 6:1-2
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Romans 12:9 NIV .. Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
If you have two evil candidates... you are NOT to vote for lesser of two evils.. that hopefully grace may abound in the future..
Fortunately there is the write in option (which I used for 4 slots, couple were against dims that had no opposition) or just plain not voting. In some states it seems RINOs dominate the ticket... I can understands not voting in those states.
The Blame game has been around, Adam blamed Eve, Eve blamed the snake... but both failed to look at themselves as the reason for their fall from grace. The GOP can only look at itself in most instances.. embracing RINO policies and politicians with the "perhaps greater good can be obtained can be squeezed from the rotten apple in the future" attitude backfired.
When Israel turned it's back from Jesus, what happened. In voting straight party blindly, you seem to be voting "traditionally"... One should be careful to see how voting "tradition" instead of on the solid rock as a guild can have negative effects.
Jesus touches on this very subject of "tradition" ... * "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? For God commanded, saying... `He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.' But you say..." Mat. 15:3-4
* "For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men..." [Jesus] said to them, "All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition. For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother; and 'He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.' But you say..." Mark 7:8-11
Any person that votes a pro-abortion murder CINO has put tradition before commandments... Any person that knowingly votes for a pro-homosexual sodomite CINO has put "tradition" before God. You reap what you sow...
Thanks.
This argument has been going on since early summer. People have stated their cases before the election. Many decided to not vote this year and announced that decision prior to the election on this very forum. The answer was repeatedly name-calling and threats rather than friendly debate and reason. It appears that the name-calling continues. Unfortunately, that isn't likely to draw voters in future elections, just as it wasn't effective in this election.
Which prominent "uberconservatives" hated Reagan?
