Rudy For President
Stardate: 0611.15

Posted on 11/15/2006 3:19:33 AM PST by The Wizard

They are beginning....the lies and the smears and the awful things that the fools think will turn good conservatives away from Rudy, but I tell you, and I am conservative, Rudy is the guy.....the Man....a leader for America who will hold our values and our heads up and not be scared away by liberals, the media or any tin horn dictator anywhere in the world

We need a man with values and principles and that man is Rudy G.....

they are going to karp about his re marriage, (so what) or the fact that he actually does not agree with every conservative position, but I say this election, the office of the president, it too important to be held hostage to "every stinking" ideal we all hold true....

CONSIDER the witch!!!!Is there anything more frightening than that.....

I would forgive Rudy G quite a lot if it meant that he would be represetnting America in the world....

They think the "Cowboy" was tough......

Welcome to New York

let's give these Islamofacists someone who will not be intimidated and who can kick some butt....

Let's give the media someone who knows where's the bodies are....Rudy was tried by Fire in NYC and he made it.....

I endorse Rudy G for President Of the United States.

FreeRepublic.com should also, IMHO

What do you mean, he won't be moving on those issues? If a rat congress sends him a bill with legislation riding along that addresses one or more of those issues in a way that suits his stated position on it, and otherwise it's a bill he wants, what makes you think he won't sign it? And what about court appointees? I don't want anymore leftist judges who think it's fine to crap on the Second Amendment or that some whore's whim of convenience is more valuable than an unborn baby or that a child with its head halfway out of the womb isn't a person.

We cannot ignore that Hillry's religious left will foleyized US just like they did this past election just to turn off those "morals voters". Rudy has left the left which he is at heart plenty of footage to rub in our faces. Now what has Rudy been doing since he was mayor of the liberal big apple?

Interesting now isn't it that these the house the homo agenda will used their favorite rights crowd to foleyize US in order to win elections.

Exactly.

If Rudy wanted to do the country and the Republican Party a big favor--
he should have run against Hillary for the Senate!!

He could have done the country (and the state of NY) a great deal of good in that role, while remaining true to his 'obvious liberal leanings' as a New York senator.

I don't think that anyone (even here) would have opposed Rudy 'dethrowning' Hillary.

But at a Presidential candidate, he will never get my vote.

Excuse the oversight. Guess I never noticed your post on a pro Rudy thread - or maybe your profile page was blank until recently?

Geeeez...that was the LAST TIME (6 years ago, not now). If it's a major problem NOW,,,why will it not be in two years?

Again, if he wanted to do the Republican Party some good, he should have run against Hillary THIS time. He could have done this country a great service by replacing Hillary.

He should have run this time--where they LOVE him (NY)--and ended this Hillary hysteria. After all, aren't NYers his biggest defenders and supporters?

It should have been a 'slam dunk' for him and his liberal leanings to defeat her now--and not two years from now.

And THAT is your response? (rolling eyes)

He will NEVER even get the nomination in the Republican Party.

I suggest he pull a 'Lieberman' independent run. Again, he will never get my vote.

Y'know, all these people who have liberal principles and just aren't registered as Democrats should reregister as Democrats and let the GOP be winnowed down to people with conservative principles.

Mario Cuomo is about as socialist and 'big government' as you could POSSIBLY get. Rudy supported him!! I could never vote for a candidate that SUPPORTED MARIO CUOMO! Never.

Rudy turned out to be right on that one, between Mario and Pataki, Rudy did pick the more conservative candidate.

What it boils down to is the number 1 problem hurting the Republicans is over the past 12 years and especially the last 2 they have been utterly spineless in the face of attacks from Liberals. George Bush has not used his bully pulpit to any degree and no Republican has promoted Conservative values to any effect what so ever. The MSM has been able to spin the news cycles against Republicans with impunity.

This lack of articulation and fighting back allowed the Democrats to convince a majority of Americans that we are losing a war we already won and that even though the economy is roaring along we are actually in a deep recession. This has poisoned the hearts & minds against Republicans and was the main reason for our loss.

Now unless Republicans grow a spine which is highly unlikely, Americans will not vote for what they see (however rightly or wrongly) as a George Bush clone and for the most part Americans will see many of the so called "Real" Conservatives that have been thrown around as one.

In a perfect world Rudy's not my 1st choice but Rudy for all his faults is a fighter and not spineless like the rest of the current crop of losers we have running our party. Rudy will not be rolled over by the MSM and the rats like the dufuses we have now have been and even though he's leans a little too far left on some social issues, over all Rudy does an excellent job of articulating Conservative values. Right now that's what we need most.

Rudy would fight the War on Terror better than anyone and be just as good as any of the other guys at keeping spending down. Most importantly he would make Republicans more palatable for the future
