Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, says she's "exhausted" from the 2006 campaign and wants to "take some time and get focused on the work ahead of us" before thinking about a possible run for president.
Clinton said with Democrats taking control of both houses of Congress, "Democrats have to produce results."
She promised dozens of supporters at an airport rally in Albany that Democrats will raise the minimum wage and produce energy legislation to cut dependence on foreign oil. She also said Democrats in Congress will adopt the recommendations of the national 9-11 commission.
Clinton's stop in Albany was part of a victory tour of the state. She had stopped earlier today in White Plains to thank supporters.
Senator Clinton says she's pleased that women ran well in the 2006 election and that Nancy Pelosi will become the first woman speaker of the House. Clinton added: "Slowly but surely people are looking and saying, `Well, what do you believe?' not, `What's your hair style?"'
HER!
When I sit on the "john" I produce results with ease. Something I'm sure the Democrats will provide.
Hillary is EXHAUSTED thinking so much about; "That witch is only TWO heartbeats away from..."
(Oh yeah... the 'education' industry, too!)
"Some guy on the radio said he thinks NANCY PELOSI wants to be President.....he mentioned the DETERMINED look in her eye, and he is right!!"
In all fairness, Pelosi would be a better President then Hillary. Ok, I just gagged up some vomit.
Bet on it.
"So are you saying that the lust for power of the radical leftist Dems, and to keep that power, is far more important than taking the risk running the totally unqualified Hitlery for Pres ??? That is the way I would read it.... "
Yes. Something we all have to take into consideration. As powerful as the Clinton machine is, Kennedy also has a machine as does Al Gore. These are people that have been involved in politics way before the Clintons even came on the scene.
Kennedy may be a commie loving, drunken murderer, but his connections into the political machine I would take any day over Clintons. The Presidency goes through Teddy. Unfortunately, his fair haired golden boy decided to open his mouth as well as not produce a signed 180.
We seem to forget, if Kerry's 180 was produced and nothing was on it (yeah sure) Alan Dershowitz is sitting in Alito's spot and Patrick Fizgerald is attorney General.
This is an easy one to translate...
By saying she is "Exhausted" from the 2006 campaigns, she is taking credit for the victory. As in, her tireless and sacrificial work paid off in the huge victory.
Gas tax coming.....Same agenda as Bubba. See 1993 State of the Union.
Yes. Recall when Billyboy was fumbling and stumbling around in his cocaine induced haze, the media whined at his critics, "But he's TRYING as hard as he can!"
They will be. Pelosi/Reid will see that Bush has done all that. Hillary will decide to run when she is strongly convinced she can win, not before. So if she announces some day, look out. Risk taking is not her bag.
How about a......Clinton/Pelosi ticket??!!
Sleep well tonight! (hee hee)
Reminds me of the joke from 'The Dozens'
"Hillary's behind is so big it takes her two trips to haul ass."
Something to remember for 2008. If a campaign with no tough opponent is this exhausting, she is really not up to being a president or even a candidate.
..... NANCY PELOSI wants to be President......
The guy on the radio is an idiot. Nancy thinks she is Prime Minister now!!
What a major gift, er, gaffe. She has no business running for president.
Her opponents need to get in her space.
Wonder if Hillary is a little upset that Pelosi os SOOOOOOO close to the presidency. Much more than she is! Watch for the Armani suits and the skin tightening up in the next months.
