How can we change it, or how have they influenced it?

I really don't think they'll go for impeachment, just endless investigations and smear campaigns.

Pres. Bush and his administration will spend the next 2 years on trial in congressional committee. Plan on about 3-4 major investigations:
Energy Policy
WMDs/Intelligence & Iraq
OBL
etc...

this will allow them to drag our President in the mud up until the 2008 presidential primaries

Now that the Republicans have lost the House, it will not be so easy to get it back. Incumbents are very powerful. In 2004, Melissa Beam beat the very tired Phil Crane in the Illinois 8th District in somewhat of an upset. She never even moved into the district, but proved to be a formidable person who won reelection with 55% of the vote to a highly qualified candidate David McSweeney. She cruised to reelection in a Republican district. The Democrats will have their allies in the Media on their side as well. It will be an uphill battle until the 2010 census.

No, it was conservative democrats that crossed over and voted GOP that got Reagan elected. If a Santorum or the like is what we put through in the primary in '08 we'll lose... sorry to sound so pesimistic, but I'm looking at the country as a whole and being realistic.

The Klinttons crippled the DONKEYCRAT party, San Francisco Pelosi and her menagerie of degenerate socialist crooks will kill it.

Agree, but it's a damn shame that many Americans are so damned naive that we have to go through this from time to time.

FRom MSNBC. Hayworth is one of my favorite congresscritters. I can't believe he'd not win:

Let's wait. GOP absentee ballots were incredibly strong here.

Good point. He is very smart when it comes to computers etc...but was raised a democrate and just can't get past the "poor people are victims and we should have more govt laws on gas consumption."

The tightening is due to Richmond City returns. Have no fear - Allen will finish ahead by around 3000-5000 votes.

"I don't understand some voters...Delay's district was heavily GOP and he was railroaded. What's wrong with those folks?"

What is wrong with this country?

You may want to move money around over a period of a week or two. I think the market will be choppy in the coming weeks, but it will go down. Just wait until the Dems reveal their agenda.

And would someone please tell me how electing a Dem in Arizona is going to help stop illegal immigration more than a Republican?

Brit is a snore. A media dinosaur.

If Fox wants to survive and keep its following while adding lots more it needs someone like Malkin or Coulter or??? (help me with this) heading up the round table discussions.

HOW THE HECK could "Mad Hatch" & his running mate "that didn't even know what E-85 was a WEEK AGO" win Minnesota !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only rational explanation is that everyone who lives here is an idiot. Also remember this is still Hubert Humphreyland. Some parts of Minneapolis/St Paul remind me of San Fran.....with some snow of course.
