Swift Boater No. 1

November 5, 2006 12:50 am

John Kerry's painful self-expiation

SEN. JOHN KERRY'S little joke about smarts and soldiering in Iraq turned out to be, pardon the expression, not much of a swiftie. If the Kerry Correlation is true, the senator's performance at a California city college last week qualified him to be dropped off alone in middle of the Sunni Triangle with a rifle, pack, and desert uniform with a stitched-on name patch: Doofus.

If that scenario sounds suicidal, Mr. Kerry's remark about the lazy and ill-educated "get[ting] stuck in Iraq"--he claimed later he was talking about President Bush, but Mr. Bush is a fellow Yalie--was political hari-kari. Speaking of Mr. Kerry's presidential prospects in 2008, the amoral political genius Dick Morris says, with a brevity that precludes dissent, "Kerry is dead." One commiserates with Mr. Kerry, returning home to Teresa after immolating their First Couple hopes, perhaps trying to explain things while dodging every shoe in her closet. She probably has a lot of shoes. Mr. Kerry may not have encountered hostile fire this intense on the Mekong.

Actually, the senator's lethal gag might be better likened to a suicide bombing: Not only did he blow up himself, but he also blasted shrapnel at Democratic candidates in tight races, some of whom disinvited him from campaign appearances. A week before a watershed election, apathetic GOP voters were sharply reminded why they might want to keep Congress from falling wholly into the hands of the party that just two years ago ran John Kerry for commander in chief.

Mr. Kerry's lapsus linguae , as Dick Mephistopheles Morris pointed out, may have been Freudian. The senator may really look down on the troops. But the current U.S. military got off easy--Mr. Kerry implied that they are merely ignorant--compared with their forebears who fought in Vietnam. Young John likened them to the brutal minions of Genghis Khan, only with grenades.

There are dirty politics, and there are pseudo-dirty politics, tossed unjustly by skilled liars into the skullduggery cell. One widely accepted falsehood is that Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis, the Democrats' 1988 presidential candidate, was "smeared" by George H.W. Bush's Willie Horton ads. In fact, as governor, Mr. Dukakis had backed the furlough program that allowed Horton to rape a Maryland woman and half-kill her fiance. Another crystallizing canard paints the Swift Vets and POWs for Truth as a GOP front group devoted to ruining Mr. Kerry's Vietnam War record just in time for the 2004 election. While that group went too far in impugning the basis for Mr. Kerry's combat awards, it brought overdue reckoning to a man who had branded hundreds of thousands of living and dead warriors as berserk brutes.

Now Mr. Kerry self-administers final justice to his political career. Dr. Freud, how we love thee.

A friend of mine who works at Neiman Marcus in Boston told me how everybody would run away if Kerry came into the menswear department. He would spend twenty or thirty minutes in front of the Hermes ties, making the hapless sales associate pull dozens from the display case for him to admire.

He would hold them up to his throat in front of the mirror with a running commentary about how they are the best ties in the world, cut on the bias, finest silks available, that he owns dozens of them, etc. etc.

The kicker is though that after all of his fawning and admiration he never bought one tie there, not one! Just another example of the time wasting French loving pompous blowhard junior Senator from Massachusetts pissing off the hard working taxpayers...

"One commiserates with Mr. Kerry, returning home to Teresa..."

You think this woman's got sense enough to know Iraq from Shmiraq??? Kerry from Schmerry???

"You'll get stuck in Iraq"

Kerry should have added: :"And the Democrats will do everything possible to disenfranchise your vote."

Apparently there are thousands of people in Massachusetts who think he's just adorable.

Isn't it funny how Kerry is no longer a story anywhere in the news now.

Media can hide Kerry and try and forget him all they want. The damage was done days ago and his insult to America's troops will not be forgotten.

When I lived in Mass I was acquainted with a Forbes family member who IIRC was Kerry's cousin. Kerry was AG at the time.

In any case he could barely stand to hear Kerry's name spoken.

Yes, but what is even funnier is that Kerry ever in his pathetic mimic of life, was considered news worthy.

Personally, I'd like to see him dropped off in the Sunni Triangle naked with a pair of pink panties on his sorry head.

No they did not! Mr. Kerry could have defused the whole issue if he released his DD180. He did not. He told Tim Russert he would release it but he did not. If there was not anything in his record that is damming he would have released his DD180. He did not.

I have always suspected he got a less than honorable discharge that was then changed to honorable under the Carter Administration. His collusion with the North Vietnamese at the Paris Peace talks when he was still in the Naval Reserve would have been grounds for a less than honorable discharge.

The man is pond scum whose actions and words have put our military in harms way for the last forty years.

That's a understatement if I ever heard one. Mr Bean is a lethal laugh machine when he is clowning around and should come with a warning label for those with cardiovascular problems.

Mr Boston baked, Bean fart, on the other hand, is only funny when he takes himself seriously. Which is only.....only, only all the time.

Regarding Kerry: "..he claimed later he was talking about President Bush.."

The backlash from the American public is beginning. Politicians and those in the entertainment industry that choose to degrade our troops and yammer on stage when they are paid to perform are being held accountable for their actions.

Simply stated...The swinging pendulum from the American public is thumping politicians and entertainers in the their heads and wallets.

ta-pocketa-pocketa-pocketa-pocketa-pocketa, went the the twin engines on John kill em all kerry's boat, mzzz teraza (real heros have nick names like that). It was a dark and quiet night, John kill em all Kerry turned to his first mate and (in a quiet yet confident voice) said....it's quiet...too quiet I don't like it.
If only we can get a bit farther up river without getting spotted we'll be able to drop off secret agent x-183.
In the blink of an eye the clam of the night was SHATTERED KAPOW KAPOW WOOOOSH BLAM BLAM the night came alive with a song of DEATH! They had sailed into a clever ambush set by Charlie (John kill em all Kerry's long time foe).

The crew strickened with fear and unable to move turned as one to the one man who had the courage, the skill, the WILL to save them.
John kill em all Kerry like a coiled spring leapped into action (That's what heros like to do in these kind of situations) with a sneer on his lips John kill em all Kerry THRUST the throttle forward and mzzz teraza (heros liKe john kill em all Kerry like to have names for their boats) LEAPPED like a mighty stallion BAAATTLE STATIONS he shouted! Wakeing as from a dream John kill em all karry's band of brothers leaped to their stations.
BUDDA BUDDA BUDDA sang the quad 50s in a tune that sang death and destruction for Charlie and his commie stooges, BRRRRAAAAAPPPP the 60's spat out a curtain of lead, BOOOOM BOOOOM the 300mm mortars adding their song to the aria of war!
Now the dirty commies would pay for DARING to attack John kill em all Kerry and his All American band of brothes! With a ferral grin John kill em all Kerry shouted DIE COMMIE SCUM! (see hero types like John kill em all Kerry say things like that, they teach them that at hero school).

Just when it looked like one more (glorious) victory for John kill em all Kerry and his gallant band of brothers, KABOOOOM commie frogmen (and they're the worst kind) had placed a mine (the sneeky dirty underhanded Khmer rouge bast*rds) on the sleak and deadly mzzz teraza! In a bat of an eyelash john kill em all Kerry know his gallant little steed was done for, Flinging the little mzzz teraza at the nearest nest of vipers John kill em all Kerry CHARGED straight into the muzzels of death. Afraid? Not he, John kill em all Kerry didn't know the meaning of fear
Fear:
{fear(Function): noun Etymology: Middle English fer, from Old English f[AE]r sudden danger; akin to Latin periculum attempt, peril, Greek peiran to attempt Date: 12th century 1 a : an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger b (1) : an instance of this emotion (2) : a state marked by this emotion 2 : anxious concern : SOLICITUDE 3 : profound reverence and awe especially toward God 4 : reason for alarm : DANGER synonyms FEAR, DREAD, FRIGHT, ALARM, PANIC, TERROR, TREPIDATION mean painful agitation in the presence or anticipation of danger. FEAR is the most general term and implies anxiety and usually loss of courage .
DREAD usually adds the idea of intense reluctance to face or meet a person or situation and suggests aversion as well as anxiety .
FRIGHT implies the shock of sudden, startling fear .
ALARM suggests a sudden and intense awareness of immediate danger .
PANIC implies unreasoning and overmastering fear causing hysterical activity .
TERROR implies the most extreme degree of fear .
TREPIDATION adds to DREAD the implications of timidity, trembling, and hesitation.}

The boat rammed into the den of inequity, and leapping from the galllant but doomed craft a 50cal in his right hand his (trusty) M-16 in his left a 5in. cannon strapped to his back John kill em all Kerry LEAPPED into the very heart of the enemy AAAAHHHHHH he cried all the while dealing death to the left and right (hero types do stuff like that all the time, that's why they're hero types)

The (dirty) commies quaked in fear at this (magnificent specimen) All American hero type in a blood lust cried "It's kill em all Kerry! Please don't kill us, John kill em all Kerry would have none of that! Not after their dastardly attack and mortal wounding of his (beloved) mzzz teraza, DIE YOU DIRTY COOMMIE RATS, I'LL TEACH YOU TO MESS WITH MASSACHUSETTS!
And oh the carnage the ensued, So terrible was his (awesome, but sensitive) wrath that soon after those above him (being jealous of his superior combat skills and the love his band of brothers had for him) sent him back to the good old US of A.

Stay tuned for more advetures of John kill em all Kerry.
Coming soon "John Kerry and the agents of DOOM."

a very sad thing: Tahressah married Pennsylvania U.S. Senator Henry John Heinz III - and inherited the vast Heinz fortune - which is being used against everything Heinz believed...

She was an alien - got her citizenship while married to Heinz. (She was schooled in Africa and Paris - became an interpretor at the UN. =

She had 3 sons by Heinz - H. John Heinz IV, Andre Heinz, and Christopher Drake Heinz.

I have often wondered what they think about mummy dearest and her politics versus their dad's- they were 17, 21 & 24 when Sen. Heinz died - old enough to know where Heinz stood.

Very true. I used to watch Leno every night. I always thought he was even-handed politically, and his second segment (Headlines, Jaywalking, etc.) is usually pretty funny. The day after Kerry's comments, Leno opened his monologue by saying Kerry "botched a joke" about President Bush. It was obvious he was reading DNC talking points straight from the card. I haven't watched his show since.

Not only is he no longer a story, where has he gone? Why isn't he in the news at all? Why isn't he speaking out about anything?

Could he be pulling the trick of hide-out until after the elections to avoid questions and comments?
