Pursuant to the KFI top of the hour news, John Kerry has given an apology to military personnel. We will have the exact words when they are available.

Doug, I respectfully request that you ask the mods to change the title - the headline is confusing - elevating the non-apology to the status of an apology - we're carrying the MSM's water with our headline.

KFI reported this and I did the best to convey what I heard. They referenced what he said yesterday and new information from today. To what extent he backtracked, we hope to know soon. He apparently realizes that he cannot remain silent. Karl Rove, you b*st*rd. How did you get him to do this?
And then he made up a ridiculous LIE to cover it up.
And the MSM is buying into an incredibly, transparent, BALD-FACED BLATANT LIE like that---that even an accomplished and shameless liar like Clinton wouldn't have the 'stones' to try to use.

Kerry HAS NOT APOLOGIZED
No way does he apologize now. The opportunity to undo such a stupid comment, was yesterday. Instead, he comes out and attempts to spin it another way, and did a horrible job of it. It was obvious to all rational people, and cannot be undone.
The Left demands such things of its minions. There is no free will in the realm of politics for the Left. Those who dare to craft their own course can be cut off quickly, as with their 2000 VP candidate, Joe Lieberman.

This is what the MSM and dems have been trying to get Pres. Bush to do for years...apologize, because THEY are mad at him...and our enemies are mad at us..
NOW we see the difference between Pres. Bush and ANY dem....he WON'T apologize to make someone "happy"...

Yeah, he just said that he was sorry for a bad joke. The fact remains that he insulted the intelligence of the troops and refuses to take back his words.
Actually, Kerry didn't apologize - this is simply the media claiming he apologized so he doesn't have to.
Someone should call that station and point out that either their reporters are on drugs, or they are making things up. I suspect they are referring to the Imus appearance, which WAS NOT an apology. Would someone in that market please hold their feet to the fire?
I think they are waiting for a speech writer to craft what he cannot come up with on his own. He is so shaken now, it's just like being in Cambodia at night.
