Kerry on Imus

Posted on 11/01/2006 4:27:34 AM PST by wtc911

Kerry spinning like a top on Imus. He says it is Bush who owes America an apology.

Says he's getting off campaign trail to not be a distraction.

Totally re-writing what he said.

Says the WH distorted his words to distract America from the outrage of their failures...

I have never seen the MSM circle the wagons to this extent. They sense the Congress is nearly in their hands, and they will stop at nothing to kill or distort this story.

And remember....He did NOT fall down. The Son-of-a-bitch pushed him!

How you phrased what SHOULD have been Kerry's response is right on. The mighty American Middle Class is very forgiving, God bless 'em. We have common sense out here in la-la land and we make mistakes too.

His follow up will never fly with us keepers of the common sense. Gotta wonder who advised him to react like he did.

Glory, glory....comes a time when the back is to the wall and there is no escape. This time is now for the Democrap party. Gotta admit it's interesting as hell.

I keep remembering that lame late-night 'press conference' that Kerry held at the last minute sometime during the campaign. I think it might have been during the Republican convention. Even Johnny E had enough sense to look embarrassed.

Kerry was obviously three sheets to the wind and made a total fool of himself at that conference. I'm sure he did that completely against the advice of his minders, but he just couldn't help trying to get at W.

This fool is totally freakazoid and out-of-control and everyone knows it, including the Dems.

But coming in the last six days before the election, this really hurts them no matter what they do.

The GOP must press this on EVERY single campaign stop. Bush must pretend it is 2004 all over again to rally the base against Kerry and the troop-hating Democrats. Every Republican candidate should scream about this from the podium over the next six days. Total war. If the GOP talks about nothing but this, than the media MUST cover it.

Kerry can go wherever he wants.

We have the video of his words, and it will be played all over the web and in ads for the next 7 days.

That must have been during the six o'clock hour. The comments at 0540 and 0740 were totally anti Kerry.

The longer Kerry talks the longer this story remains. No one with any common sense will fail to see him trying his best overcome that which cannot be overcome--his statement about people in the military.

He had a chance to apologize, correct his statement and make excuses for it. I could have written the text quite easily and I am sure he had people who could do likewise.

His problem is he thinks he is smarter than he is and he is inclined to macho, macho behavior to correct past criticisms. Childish and immature comes to mind.

back in the old days imus would have called him on it. he should be ashamed, too. what a sell out.

Diedre cut off his nads and had them mounted on a wall at thr ranch years ago. I've had the 'honor' of being in the same room with her twice. She's an annoying, humorless, 'I'm smarter than everyone here' control freak. Nobody could stay married to her and keep his balls in his own Wranglers. Great boobs though.

In which disctionary does the poltroon Kerry find "distort" as a synonym for "play back?" I question his education.

I hope the GOP buys a million dollars worth of airtime and loops that video 24/7 for the next week.

BTTT! I agree!

I can't remember where I read it (but it stuck with me) that PENNSYLVANIA has a disproportionate number of soldiers currently active in the military. Alot of families with love ones 'stuck in Iraq.' I trully hope they (the national big wigs) send Kerry to Philly to explain...could help Rick :)

Levin's first twenty minutes are always worth recording. Classic rants. He's a freeper, you know.

Why would Lurch, whose grades were not as good as GWB's at Yale, try to make a 'joke' equating Bush with being uneducated and stupid. Where does that leave him??

Seemingly not smart enough to figure out the answer to your question...

When it comes to Kerry, I'll never forget: "I apologize to no one." All you ever need to know about the man. Thankfully, he has brought about his own end.

Morning Peach,

I'd love to see President Bush decide to apologize on Kerry's behalf to any service member who was offended. Whether it was a joke or not is not as important compared to our military realizing congress and the American people support them. Since Senator Kerry lacks the class of Senator Lott, President Bush can continue taking the high road in the face of such childish comments and remarks coming from a political party that is not treating issues seriously.

I swear they added "canned" laughter to Kerry's little speech. I heard it this am......but not at all yesterday.

That is the most insightful question I have read, or heard, in a long, long time. You've skewered that gas bag quite nicely.
