The sad thing for me about McCain is that I don't trust him to flip flop again when this is no longer working for him. But for now, I'll admit I'm enjoying him putting the screws to Kerry.

Good poll results, because those 3,271 people are the ones we can't possibly persuade anyway, so eveybody else didn't like his comments and some of them will move in our direction.

FNC screen crawl at 9:00 pm pt mentions only the Braley cancellation later this week.

Cindy and John are both pretty much in the same boat...
I don't think any of the candidates want them within a hundred miles of a campaign event.....LOL
BUT, we know...and everyone else knows...
Sissy Chrissy has brought up macaca every night for a couple of months...but I betcha he doesn't even mention this again tomorrow.
Just like he never devoted over 5 minutes to acknowledging that it was Armitage, not Cheney, Rove or Libby that "outed" NOT, Valerie Plame...

If they are not needed any more, then let us celebrate their service to our country - twice - and know if they are needed in the future, they will answer the call.
Glory be to G_D and bless the Swift Boat Vets for assisting the country once again.

I agree that McCain could screw up his own momentum at some other turn. But, for now, he didn't really have to follow-up on Kerry in this way, and yet he chose to. I think it is indeed because he feels strongly about this issue, plus he accepts that Iraq is a just fight. I think also that he's just plain tired of Dem badmouthing of the mission. Reminds him of Nam, and now his dander's up.

So, maybe we should still go to the Philadelphia function, if only to show our signs that say, for example, "Cut 'n' Run Kerry"?

Maybe I missed something, being in unfamiliar territory, but they seem oblivious to his cancelled appearances and pumped about his "truth to power" stance.
Catatonic denial ?

WOW..on the CNN poll that I went to earlier this evening 70% said that Kerry was being mistreated...awwwwwwwww..

I'd love for Rove to start running ads that do two things. 1) String together all the Dem quotes badmouthing our troops (eg. Durbin), ending with the latest Kerry misstep. And 2) constantly replay Reid saying "we killed the Patriot Act." When or when will the Reps start playing these tapes.
That would be AWESOME.
They couldn't have done that 2 weeks ago because the Republicans were scrambling to distance themselves from Iraq. But this Kerry thing is really reminding people why they can't freakin' stand the guy.
It would be nails to run hard on the issue the Dems think is your biggest weakness. Do it, Rove You Magnificent

Do you think the Pa demorat candidates should be asked if they encouraged lurch to make those statements?
To: hole_n_one
Kerry should try one more pathetic, phoney and transparent effort to 'unbotch' his comments.
He should state that,
"what I meant was, that those in the military aren't smart enough to marry two multimillionaire women. If you can't do that, you end up in Iraq".
