A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

These are terrific. I don't know where you got them but keep up the good work.. It's Halloween today/tonight, so let's all go out and get some of that sweet stuff all the kids get. It's not fair they get to get first call on the cavities!
To: DollyCali
How are your lawyers doing? they flying their brooms tonight?Haha. I'm a lapsed lawyer and don't practice anymore, so I won't be riding. However, I do think the commie professors I'm around now will be out in force tonight.

I thought you would like them; I'm glad you found an opportunity to use them.
To: radiohead
Yes, OF COURSE, I was NOT referring to you! gracious!
You mentioned on another thread you worked with a lot of super liberals(attorneys)..
I think it will be a bit like bird migrations with a few leading & picking up the others.
Hillary has already left, I understand

I do what I want or what the students want. They're all people who love art and had to give it up for career and family, etc, and finally have time to come back to it and re-discover themselves. It is a rewarding job. Some of these people are very good and some find they haven't lost their touch.

The one I have bought would do about 5 or 6 pies and is not the biggest I have seen.
Ours tend to be priced the same whether small or large. I was given a tip by a fellow freeper if I wanted to eat the pumpkin to go for smallest and darkest in colour I could find.
The last 2 have been fine so I am sure this one will be too

In centuries ahead (if the world is still around) I would hope that people would be shaking their heads wondering how abortion could have been condoned,in the same way we look at the witch hunts. I agree with you there!

well, sistahs.. the only one of us with a little one in the house is AMY..so we are expecting pictures & a play by play on how her trick or treating went (and AMY you didn't eat a lot of her candy did you?)
Do the kids still use the little plastic (well some are BIG) pumpkins as candy holders for trick or treating. As I said earlier, we don't get them here.

It is amazing how in midlife we can find these things if not known earlier. My own journey was one of not having a clue about my creative side.
Except for the dancing, I did nothing like that or had time. Iwas involved in debate, science, math etc.
When I finally left the professional world of corporate & money, I had time to get into nature & find some things out about myself. People just live such fast paced & busy lives..and I am one of them in many ways...but now I am doing things I like & are me, rather than fitting into some mold the world expects.
Good for you for helping these who are investigating their abilities & nurturing their creative side

Interesting but sad indeed.. Yes, very sad. These sisters were the epitome of God-fearing puritan women. Mary went to Gallows Hill with forgiveness for her accusers and with a serenity that only the deepest faith in God can instill. Her older sister, Rebecca, was excommunicated from the church that she so loved before she was hanged. That was the cruelest hurt of all. She died believing that the church had the power to sever her connection with God. Several years after her hanging, the church reversed the excommunication and the British government awarded Sarah three gold sovereigns for the injustice done to her and her two sisters.
