In his book, which came out this week, Kengor focuses on a KGB letter written at the height of the Cold War that shows that Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) offered to assist Soviet leaders in formulating a public relations strategy to counter President Reagan's foreign policy and to complicate his re-election efforts.

Lucky for us and for the East Germans, Poles, Hungarians, Czechs, Slovaks, Rumanians, Lithuanians, Latvians, Estonians, Ukrainians, et al., that the Reagan Way prevailed over the DemCom Ostpolitik appeasement strategy of Kennedy.

Thanks for the ping, Dave.
Since its inception the goal of the Soviets was to undermine the western democracies from within. The Swimmer was and still is the vulnerable and greedy type of useful idiot they'd court for political advantage.
We are so fortunate to have had Ronald Reagan to counter the Soviet threat by merely flexing America's muscles.

Lest anyone forget .. it was the senior Kennedy who was Ambassador to the UK during WWII - and he sided with HITLER. FDR was so mad about it - he recalled Kennedy and brought him back to the states.
I don't know if Kennedy ever worked in public service again.

The aforementioned letter referenced here would be a good start: That's not what you said. You have the proof or you don't. It can be inspected and verified or it can't.
They had "documents" on Bush's service too. We all know what happened with that.
You said "PROOF". Not even the lower standard, "evidence".
When I see the alleged "proof", I will be able to ascertain it's validity.
So far, this story doesn't smell right.

Kerry said then his accusations were based on the so-called "testimony" of "150 honorably discharged" Vietnam veterans who, like himself, claimed to have committed or witnessed "war crimes, not isolated incidents but crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command."
Please note; Having served in country and discharged in '73 after 6 years active and reserve, my discharge was signed by the Honorable John Chaffee, SECNAV.
Kerry's 4 month stint in VN was concurrent (briefly) with mine. His discharge was signed by John Lehman, Reagan's SECNAV. Kerry's legal issues with the Navy and the delay in processing his discharge remain undisclosed. However. it is known Kerry took advantage of Carter's blanket pardon for draft dodgers, war protesters and deserters.
Bring this to trial! I'm getting out my checkbook to assist the VVLF and heading to the hardware store for a brush and yellow paint.

This part really stinks re Kerry's behavior after and maybe during his short tour of Nam and his late discharge. His refusal to turn his records over to full disclosure stink of illegal stuff.

You could have live video of Ted Kennedy and Vladamir Putin in bed, naked, together and Ted giving him Top Secret Documents and a layout of the Pentagon, and the libs would still love him and MA voters would reelect him with 75% of the vote.
