In his book, which came out this week, Kengor focuses on a KGB letter written at the height of the Cold War that shows that Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) offered to assist Soviet leaders in formulating a public relations strategy to counter President Reagan's foreign policy and to complicate his re-election efforts.

I used to- to my shame vote for RATs. Never again, they have too many Kennedy types. I feel the same way about RATs as they feel about Republicans. They are not welcome in my house.

I'm so glad to see this making the news again. I remember seeing one article about this at the time the letter was discovered, but there was never any follow-up articles. I always wanted to know why Kennedy wasn't tried for treason.

FDR recalled him from his post because of Joe Kennedy's belief that Germany would overpower England. And of course, since Joe was Irish, I'm sure he would have applauded that. (I'm not saying all Irish would have supported Hitler, just that Joe Kennedy did)

Is it treason if we're not at war? Yes it is. A country need not be at war to have enemies. The Constitution says nothing about "in time of war" in it's definition of treason. That is something made up by the Vietnam era anti-war types traitors, They were just as wrong then as they are now. "no war != no treason"

It sure would be nice to be able to take this guy down.
Amazing how the worse of the 3 Kennedys was the only one that didn't eat a bullet.

The letter has to be archived somewhere. Maybe, some one will find it and publish it.

It's proabably still in the achives for the former KGB. Question is, how do we get a hold of it.

Teddy's response to this will,I'll wager,be to challenge the authenticity of the document(s),claim that it's misunderstood or claim that it's "old news". Yes, he will call a press conference and show up wearing a neck brace. That drunken, murdering, communist tub of $h*t has done unrepairable damage to our country over his disgraceful career as a politician.
To: piytar
Ted Kennedy is nothing more than a leftist twit who represents the Democrat Party, which by the way synonymous with the CPUSA and the SPUSA.
If the GOP had any guts at all there would be SENATE HEARINGS and Sen. Kennedy would be called as a witness.
