The Pentagon says it is fully cooperating with a brand new investigation into allegations of prisoner abuse at Guantanamo Bay.
The allegations come from a Marine Corps sergeant, 23-year-old Heather Cerveny, who spent a week at the base in late September as a legal aide to a military lawyer representing detainees.

...and why is our militatry representing detainees? They do not have US constitutional rights. They are, for the most part, enemy combatants taken on the battlefield without uniform or clear command structure. They could...and probably shoould...be shot.

Are reporters still going to Bars and Clubs to get their unsupported stories? Some things never change. I had a young drunken submariner telling me he was a seal. A match would have set his breath on fire too. I guess there are many stories to be told in Bars and Clubs as the evening goes on. After 6 drinks they get even better.
