By Sheraz Khurram Khan Special Correspondent for ASSIST News Service in Pakistan http://www.assistnews.net/Stories/s06100040.htm
MUZAFFARABAD, PAKISTAN (ANS) -- In an horrific incident of Christian persecution on September 1, some unidentified militants slew two children of a missionary couple who is working with At Any Cost Jesus Mission, a underground ministry evangelizing to the Muslim nations.
A press release sent via e-mail to ANS by Any Cost Jesus Mission said that the assailants torched the dead bodies of teenaged children Shalom, 15 and Sharon 14 after murdering them brutally in the northern district of Pakistan. The teenaged victims according to the press release were secondary school students.
Shalom and Sharon were kidnapped along with their missionary parents and two other younger sisters 10 days before the murder. The militants asked them to convert to Islam but they refused, said the press release.
So the militants killed Shalom first. Then they raped the girl and cut one of her breasts in front of her parents. She too died, the press release quoted another underground missionary, Habel who it said broke the news to Any Cost Jesus Mission from a hidden place.
Police and the military forces are backing the militants. Habel and his family was also attacked and their house was burnt but the Lord enabled them to escape to a hidden place. They (militants) also demolished a church and some houses were set on fire too, the evangelization ministry claimed in the press release.
According to the press release the militants set the motorbike on fire by spraying petrol on it and left the dead bodies in a ditch along with a motorbike.
The police declared a false statement that it was an accident and the petrol tank of the bike was open when they fell into the ditch and burnt by a spark, alleged Any Cost Jesus Mission.
The press release said that the believers are living in a grip of fear and trouble following the killing of Shalom and Sharon.
The ministry further claimed in the press release that the militants are not allowing believers to pray.
They are not even allowed to speak a single word about Christ or Christianity or Christians, the press release quoted Habel as saying.
The tribal people and their leaders are also being murdered by the terrorists in the Neelum Valley, it said.

How much more of this kind of thing will the world choose to endure before we eradicate this pig-stain thuggery from the face of the earth?
There are worse things than death. My kids have known and, to what understanding they have had through the years, agreed with our position. Our decision to come here was made as a family and we stay here as a family. It is part of our method of bringing our children up in the fear and obedience to the Lord and we are expecting Him to work His purposes through it all.
We have known all along that our children might die over here and they might die a martry's death. To be frank, that scares the bejeebers out of me. But I, and my husband, and my children consider it worth the sacrifice to gain the prize of a life of obedience to God.
We consider "reckless obedience" to be the only type of obedience. We do not feel that Christians can serve God halfway. Additionally, being here or in the states does not guarantee that my children will live to adulthood, nor suffer horrific deaths. The death rate everywhere (with the exception of Elijah and Enoch) is 100%. The question is, do we want to live loving God and glorifying Him or live today in relative safety.
Plus, our life here is really exciting!
I think none of my children, now that two of them are adults and the other thinks she's an adult, would chose any other path. They all have personal relationships with our living Lord and are chosing themselves, away from us "bullying parents" lives of reckless obedience.

Religion of peace my A$$!!!
You bet they are. There are MANY Christians in the Middle East, especially Iran. Read August's Voice of the Martyrs. It will wake you up to that fact. Christians over there are murdered or shunned by family members for their faith. Over here we can't express it in media outlets either and this may come to our own country sooner than we think.
Giving them aid (especially 700 Club and other Christian orgs) may expose them to the true faith, christianity, and I believe many will turn to Christ during this timd. It's happening in other countries held captive by Islam.
I have close friends who are selling their house and business to minister in China. Parts of China are very dangerous to Christians as well. It's not only Muslims you need to watch for.
Voice of the Martyrs is selling a book by a man whose name I can't recall and there are testimonies by 7 egyptian christians in there. I'm sure there are many exceptions.
Your logic is extremely messed up. The parents did not kill their children, nor did they put the kids in this situation. The Barbaric and inhumane Koranimals are the guilty ones, and only them. The parents should not be accused of anything but having faith in their religion.
Guaranteed NOT to be in left wing media.
**Another proud moment for Islam.**
In their minds, yes, absolutely.
I'm not blaming the victims; the children are the victims. I am saying that the parents had reason to know or to at least strongly suspect that Pakistan was a very dangerous place, not a place a responsible Christian parent takes a child, for any reason. The article mentions no weapons. Did they not even carry weapons to defend themselves and their children?
Perhaps they were truly answering God's call. I won't presume to know what's in their hearts. But my reading of the Bible tells me that God does not require nor desire the sacrifice of our children, in fact He finds it abhorrant--that's why He stayed Abraham's hand. They could have found some other way, time or place to answer the call, or they could have left their children home. Our loving God would understand.
I'm not giving the Islamofascists a pass here. They will be judged for their deeds, one way or another. I would hope that judgement would come swiftly, but at any rate it will surely come.
I would no more take my children to live in a Muslim country than I would take them swimming in shark-infested waters, and for the same reason. The Islamofasists have as much of a conscience as your average Great White.
Time to run some clips of liberals chanting the multiculturalist line and "religion of peace" propaganda.
"... but Pakistan has the most Muslims."
I believe that India also has more Muslims thgan Pakistan.
God bless you and your children, and keep you safe.
Thank you for bringing the Light of the World to it's darkest corners.
You are indeed right - there are much worse things than death.
My five year old daughter and I will pray for you and your family tonight.

Religion of peace my shiny white backside!!!!
Makes me wonder why people seem to think there is no place for Hell in modern theology.
The parents were the responsible parties; 14- and 15-year-old children are not competent to make life-and-death decisions about their own well-being. The parents put themselves into mortal jeopardy, which is acceptable since they're adults, but they also put their minor children into mortal jeopardy, which is not acceptable. The outcome of the parents's flawed assessment of risk was horrendous. Religious risk-taking is not a game, nor is being tortured, raped and executed.
If your reading of Scripture encourages you to believe that taking foolish risks with the lives of your children is a good thing, I'm very saddened to hear it and can only hope that nothing awful happens as a result.
All the best to you and yours...
