Per Fox news, (I think this came from James Rosen) according to a high ranking U.S. official in the Bush administration, there was a test. But the N. Koreans were expecting the results of the explosion to be 400 killitons. They did not get the results they had hoped for. It was of 3.58 magnitude.
NK is a wholly owned subsidiary of China. The PRC pulls the strings, NK plays a tune, we dance around and complain.

I think it's time to bring out the Albright pics of her partying and making deals with the Elvis Korean dictator and expose the dems for actually giving NK the materials they needed to become a nuclear country. Also, let's not forget... Albright once said that global power is very unbalanced with the USA being the ONLY super-power.

Now that all these major powers are on record that a N Korean nuclear test is "unacceptable" will someone please demonstrate what that means? If there was a test we have to begin to accept this is a major failure of diplomatic and military policy. Despite all teh wishful thinking, a nuclear N Korea is a very bad thing. Is it unacceptable or has it already been accepted?
IF what you just said about Bush proves true, we have a major failure on our hands. These situations either are unacceptable or not, they are threats or not, and we either stop them or we don't. There comes a point where the rubber has to meet the road. In the end I don't want my security lost while we play nice with our new found "friends" the Chinese, et al.
