US Constitution, Article 1, Section 8:
No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.
Can't do it retroactive.
Here we go again with you not reading or understanding what's being posted and being childlessly repetitive about it. What grade are you in, the third? I'll post it one more time and maybe it'll sink in. In 1866 the phrase "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof" had clear meaning, there was no need to write anymore. They understood that the phrase involved allegiance to the country.
If you're so convinced you're right then when Congress passes a new law on the issue, and no doubt they will eventually you've got nothing to worry about when it gets to the USSC.
Ok you are going into your usual p!ssing match mode, but the first sentence says "born" as in coming out of a womb on US soil. It doesn't get any clearer than that.
Don't get mad at me about Howard Jacob's mistake.
Obviously.
If you're so convinced you're right then when Congress passes a new law on the issue, and no doubt they will eventually you've got nothing to worry about when it gets to the USSC.
Anything from Dane should come with an automatic BARF alert.
IMO, this cannot be good for America.
Bump
It does make one very appreciative of teachers as it obviously requires an enormous amount of patience to teach little kids.
No, rising numbers of CRIMINAL ALIENS. If you can't even say the words, get the hell out of journalism.
As I said, I haven't been in the baby formula market for about eleven years. I did chance to check out the prices while I was at the grocery store this morning. I'm not skeptical, just shocked. If I needed any reason not to have more children, the cost of baby supplies is another good one.
Yet another example of goverment creating artificial demand through giveaway programs.
Time to put an end once and for all for the so-called "birth-right citizenship"!
The 14th Amendment is very clear. These babies are NOT U.S. Citizens. They do not pass the "jurisdiction" test. Why won't Scalia, Roberts and Thomas address this? Where is Congress on this issue? A simple court ruling clarifying the illegality of "anchor babies" would stop this crisis cold.
I usually find myself in oppostion to you and Dane, but you're right. We're teetering into xenophobia on immigration and 'nuke Mecca' threads.
"Why pay $1,000 in Mexico when you can get it for free?" Rodriguez said.
Scum sucking bottom feeding leacherous a-hole.
Uh, not me. Couldn't afford any of my kids(3) They are all grown; One lawyer, one trauma nurse and my son graduated and has a B.A. You will have to exclude this as being un-American. Sorry!
FENCE!
First, they're NOT 'immigrants' - they're illegals. And it's an outrage that the law hasn't been changed. NO, you can't be a citizen by birth! The laws' got to be changed. NOW.
"Can someone explain to me why an advanced culture would import the dregs of the Mexican culture which depends upon fraud, graft, kickbacks and corruption in its society to deliver goods and services to its citizens?"
Isn't it just amazing how you NEVER hear Mexicans complain about the Mexican government? But they sure don't have a problem marching in the streets and complaing about US government...demanding rights and change...
only comedian Carlos Mencia has the backbone to state:
"At least white Europeans have the balls to say that they are here because Europe sucks...you can't get Mexicans to say that..."
