Check it out (video stream above per link). Bill Clinton going bonkers over his failure to prevent 9-11 and get Bin Laden--historic fact which is just starting to emerge in the public square of debate in the USA. Which is the topic of other threads today....

Yes, there is an obvious similarity to his "I did not have sexual relations with that woman...Miss Lewinsky" appearance, particularly with his finger-wagging, but other posters have commented on that. I hadn't seen anyone else draw the comparison to his TV appearance right after his testimony to the Starr team, where he showed so much anger, as he does in the Chris Wallace interview.

There should be a path of coursework culminating in the conferring of a PhD in "Clintology".
I can see many of us here are well into our dissertations!

Funny, that streaming video has only 1/100th of the internet visits than that of the clip on Clinton posted just yesterday down at YouTube.com today!!! LOL!!

That's really odd. Sometimes changing browers does the trick. I use Firefox but if I can't get a video to run, it usually works with IE. I just played the Clinton video and it worked fine using Firefox though.

The "bent dick" coward sees his "myth" of Legacy -- sinking before lying eyes...
He KNOWS his REAL legacy - is the one that places him cheek to jowl with Carter at the very bottom of the barrel....in the rubble at New York's Ground Zero.
Clinton and the current Democrat leadership is the worst thing the Country has had to endure -- and the best gift the Republicans could have hoped for..

In one short bit of anger, this creep took the election focus off the GOP and put it square on the Democrat National Socialist Party.
They got some splainin to do now. Try? How'd they try? When did they try? Where did they try it? How long did it take to try it? Why did take that long? Why did they fail? And on and on the questions go, like why do they continue to try and BLOCK this administrations attempts to get the man by any means possible. Like the bringing in and questioning of terror suspects by the CIA in which many in the CIA are scared to even attempt to "get it out of them" because of accusations of "torture" might be thrown at them.

BTW, what was Clarke's fourth point? I'm not seeing it.

...even before the thing airs on FOX TV in the US tomorrow. It is really frustrating to use words like "tomorrow" in a forum that persists indefinitely. Unnecessary work for every reader.
Does this mean this segment will be shown September 24, 2006 on FOX?
Any particular time or named show?

Yep, it must necessarily, it must universally, be viewed as a phenomenal screw up for Clinton and the Democrats for 2006. No doubt, whatsoever.

Howlin and I, for various reasons, don't see eye to eye on a number of issues. However, what I said earlier bares repeating. We all seem to come together on the issue of Xlinton.
Thanks for posting this, from Howlin. It is a great find and a great read.

To give it a shameful plug, the Sunday Live thread is a good thread to learn what all the talk shows are saying on Sunday morning, as well as links and comments about the days issues. If you have the time to read some of the comments from it, you might enjoy it. It's certainly better than actually watching some of the Sunday shows.

Exactly. And he needs to define the word 'TRY' too!
Does he mean as in 'turning down an ironclad offer' from Sudan three times? THREE TIMES?
And his reason for refusing to accept Bin Laden was (to use his own words, although I don't have the link)--"Because he had committed no crime against the US"?
And that comment came after the WTC bombing, embassies in Kenya and Tanzania bombed, the diplomats attacked in Islamabad, Khobar Barracks, USS Cole.
Unbelievable, unfreaking-believable.
Yes, Slick, lets PUBLICLY discuss how hard you 'TRIED'.
We can include how many times you called on the phone or met in person with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Directors of the CIA and FBI--and compare that with how many times you intiated calls to that 'low-level, star-stuck, flunkie the age of your daughter' for phone sex (or more).
Then we can compare the effort that you put into catching Bin Laden vs. the effort you put into turning our nation's highest office into YOUR VERY OWN PERSONAL MASSAGE PARLOR!
Then maybe we can get a better perspective on where your REAL priorities were.
To: kiwiexpat
Actually, as I political junkie, I remember seeing Bush uttering both quotes on TV. The second quote is especially memorable. You remember nothing. The first quote was never uttered and the second quote, is a complete misrepresentation of what he really said (the transcript is available online)
Nice try, but you've gave yourself away. You've managed to stick it out here for five whole years. Congratulations. What's your screen name over at DU?
