Last I remember the Second Coming is still on the Catholic doctrine. It is in a sense, an "end times" season.

Unless you deny Jesus will come again, I can't see why the statement "This is NOT the End Times" will be valid.

Religion also plays a factor. By definition, there is of course no such concept of End Times in the Christian sense among Asians who are either secular materialists/atheists (for those who come from mainland China) or Buddhists (Taiwanese).

Earnings are highly correlated to IQ and education, so we can infer that the more educated and intelligent you are the more you are likely to disagree with the statements.
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

Or perhaps the more you are enjoying this life the less likely you are to be welcoming the next.

According to Jesus himself, all true Christians are born again Christians.

John ch 3:v 5-7, "Jesus answered, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'

Since Jesus said that himself I don't see why the term "born again" is so objectionable to many professing Christians.

I'm talking about the statistical concept "the law of large numbers".
The top 5 highest IQ countries are all Asian (and the poll indicates that Asians disagree with the Poll question).
Here are the National IQs plotted against GDP. The relationship is not perfect, but there is a strong relationship.

"So if it is the 'last days' what does that mean? What is next? So many questions not addressed by this poll."

Maybe you need to dust off your bible and find out.

St. Paul said we are living in the last days 2000 years ago.
I believe we are and have been for some time. No one is quite certain when the actual last day will be however.

That would mean that Asians the happiest people on earth and Blacks the most miserable?

MATTHEW 19:23 Jesus said to his disciples, "Most certainly I say to you, a rich man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven with difficulty.

24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God."

Well I can think of three counterexamples at least,

1. Li Ka-shing didn't even have a formal school education,
2. Bill Gates is a college droupout,
3. Richard Branson is a secondary school dropout

You are caught trying to changing your definitions, sir. Trying the old trick of mixing Asians who live in the United States (who tend to be upper middle class professionals or grocery store owners) and all Asians in the whole earth eh?

I'm not sure that helps explain the data or has much to do with the price of wheat in China.

The world has never been more prosperous or peaceful than it is right now.

LOL Yes, crime has been virtually eliminated, along with wars and brutal dictatorships. I am also glad that there aren't Muslim terrorists worldwide causing an enormous loss of life and destabilizing many countries.

The part of your statement about prosperity, I can agree with. Peaceful, though? Even relatively speaking... sell it to someone else, cause I'm not buying it.

For a sliver of how peaceful things are, see below:

The West is obviously sick. Perhaps people confuse the the process of dying exhibited by our Civilization with the end of the world?

That's why we teach course in Staistics. You can find many examples of anything to support whatever argument or hypothesis you put forward.
You can find an agnostic Liberal homosexual who voted for GWB, but statistics would show that over the entire population of agnostic Liberal homosexuals, the vast majority voted for Alfred E Newman.
IOW - the exceptions prove the rule.

Huh, you're the one who posted the poll results. I'm only drawing inferences.
National IQ studies show the top 5 IQ nations to be Asian and show up high in the National GDPs.

Catholic teaching is we don't know the day or the time. We don't "know" we are now in the last days.

God bless
