How dare you call us violent! Just for that we're going to blow up all your churches, you lying b*st*rds!

Man, talk about self-parody.

The spiritual leader of Lebanon’s Sunnis, the Grand Mufti Sheik Mohammed Rashid Kabbani, said the pope’s remarks emanated either from "Ignorance and lack of knowledge or were deliberately intended to distort Islam."

I wonder if the Grand Mufti even read what the Pope said, or is just depending on what the Guardian, and the NYT have said on the matter. If he HAS read it, he's displaying willful ignorance, or just evil in stirring up the Muslim masses against Christians and Catholics.

Firebombings left black scorch marks on the walls and windows of Nablus’ Anglican and Greek Orthodox churches. At least five firebombs hit the Anglican church and its door was later set ablaze. Smoke billowed from the church as firefighters put out the flames

Stupid people those aren't papist churches.

those attacks, saying they were carried out to protest the pope’s remarks in a speech this week in Germany linking Islam and violence.

Then they each downed a 12 pack of Bud to protest the Pope's remarks that they were all a bunch of drunks...

In a phone call to The Associated Press, a group calling itself the "Lions of Monotheism" claimed responsibility for those attacks, saying they were carried out to protest the pope’s remarks in a speech this week in Germany linking Islam and violence.

And the left thinks you can reason with these people!

"Ignorance and lack of knowledge..."

Hmmm...that kind of describes Islam pretty well, imho.

Beyond it, they are certifiable. The entire civilization knows their religion is a violent oppressive lie that can't stand the light of day, or inquiry, or discussion. They condemn their own supposed belief, because in fact they do not believe a word of it. It is pure identity politics to them, nothing more.

Too bad this Grand Mufti Sheik of Lebanon didn't get sent to meet Allah by an Israeli missile back in July.

The beauty of all this is that it is a big plus for Bush....................radical Islam (Islamofascists) are being very violent trying to prove the Pope wrong about violence in religion.............meanwhile, Catholics in America are watching this unfold and thinking out loud................."President Bush is trying to do something about these religious terrorists, and those crazy Democrats want to give them Constitutional rights. President Bush is trying to stop this madness, and the crazy Democrats want to stop President Bush"....................Question: Who are these Catholics (and, a lot of other patriotic Americans) going to vote for in November, Republicans or Democrats?

Dear Mr. Mooslim,

I wish your parents had never been born and I hope you'll live to see the day when you heartily agree with me. May that day arrive soon.

If they start blowing up churches around the world, the Pope is going to get his brigades.

There's more of *us* than there are of *them*, right now. I really hope they're stupid enough to start a real Holy War with Christianity. Even counting Europe out, there's all of South America, much of Asia, and most of Africa.

Ya know, they're probably really hungry after all that burning and shooting and stuff. Perhaps the US can calm them down with a generous food donation. Hmm, gotta be careful not to risk offending any vegetarians amonst them. What to send... what to send....? Something healthy, like maybe a few tons of fresh spinach! ;)

......It comes in different forms, in cartoons or lectures ... They hate our religion," Ismail Radwan, a local Hamas official, told the rally.

Well GeeWiz Fella! You don't really believe that do you?
After all, islam is the "religion of peace". Everybody "loves" you.
Didn't you get the memo on that subject?
I'm hurt by your statements. I really am!

How dare you accuse us of pushing Islam by the sword! Now we will blow up some churches and make death threats to the Pope.

Somewhere in FR there's a photo posted of a guy with a scarf over his face (to look like a mooselime) holding up a poster saying "We will cut off the heads of anybody who says Islam is violent."

Islam is pure evil. It must be banned, its mosques destroyed and its victims deprogrammed.

"This is a new crusade against the Arab Islamic world. It comes in different forms, in cartoons or lectures ... They hate our religion," Ismail Radwan, a local Hamas official, told the rally.

Cartoons and lectures are a new crusade? I prefer the old kind.

They hate your religion? Did you ever once ask why you moron?
