I think there would be a vastly different view of the conflict were in right now if that one plane had hit, or hit very near, the capitol!

I have absolutely no use for either the House or the Senate at this point in my life! They have become fat, dumb and happy while pursuing only those matters that benefit them.

I certainly don't wish them harm, but a good scare would help them to "focus like a laser" on the threat we face.

he may be anticipating he's not [getting the Republican nomination], and planning an independent run in 2008.

There is already a pollster out there trying to prove that a third party run is viable for '08. I wonder who commissioned that poll.

If you REALLY want to get mad, on the way home on the radio I heard that these three yahoos were backed up by (ta-da) COLIN POWELL!!!

I hereby retract anything good I ever had to say about that jerk, who has been trying to run his own program since he got the SOS nomination.

I am furious!!!!

Also trying to back-stab Bush on Judicial nominations, McCain-Feingold and anti-Second Amendment.

If Democrats registered as Republicans, he'd be a shoe-in.

Graham almost always follows McCain's lead, but I am wondering if McCain isn't following Graham's legal expertise on this vote?

If Warner, McCain and Graham have Presidential ambitions this is good ammunition for their primary opponents.

"McCain, working to put the constitutional rights of terrorist first, victims last".

"McCain, working to make those who wish to kill Americans safe and secure".

"McCain, thinking he is making captured Americans safe but too ignorant to realize terrorist do not follow Geneva Convention guidelines or our rules of engagement".

Genius Graham says this is not the last war we are going to fight and he doesn't want to endanger our troops who are captured in the next one.

Because the other wars we were in were model applications of Geneva conventions. In North Korean prison camps, our troops got to play sports and be (re)educated. The Japanese were practically running a luxury resort. They were nearly killing our guys with kindness.

All that goes away if we allow Red Hot Chili Peppers to be played at terrorists past 10pm. They might start playing a little rough themselves.

That's the scary part. Several states allow cross over voting.

We disregard a law meant to protect civilians by not executing the al-Qa'ida we catch.

Sounds like we may be making a very big mistake.

Either him or Hitlery.

Wonder what he's call his party?

The Eggs Benedict Arnold Party? He can use a rotten agg as the symbol.

Politically, they are going to regret this big time.

Hey Senator Garham,

OUR Enemies DO NOT abide by the Geneva Convention NOW. Why are you such a complete idiot? Don't you get it clown. Our enemies SPIT on our rule book. They care LESS what legalism mambo jumbos you whip up. Your arguments are totally ignorant. The bleeping US Code did not protect anyone in Nam and has not protected anyone in Afghanistan and Iraq. You are such an idiot. You simply are too stupidly arrogant to LISTEN to reality and arrogantly cling to your stupid notions rather then LISTEN to the WH.

Senator, might as well prepare to be a ONE termer.

Just another problem in fighting yet another "un-declared" WAR!

When will we learn?

Not enough states allow it. Democrats will have their own hotly contested 2008 race to vote in. McCain is finished politically. He just does not know it.

Tried to get her website.

Its apparently DOWN!!

Was only able to get some information on her from the Commie Wilkipedia.

She was one of the "Gang of Fourteen", supports abortion "rights", supports stem cell research, and has broken with mainstream Republicans on numerous occassions.

She is a fit companion for her fellow representative from Maine - Olympia Snowe.

ALL of this makes the RNC support of that rat Chaffee all the MORE indigestible.

I've speculated a theory called the Law of Political Parity it goes like this:
When one party gets too many seats in the Senate they have to blow it, otherwise they'd have to make good on their campaign promises, which they don't really want to do. This law applied to both parties equally.

Take a Poll of Likely Republican Voters in South Carolina and blast it on the airways.

It is kryptonite to a MEDIA WHORE like Graham.

I want this Un-AMERICAN pig out of the Senate.

I do not want other GOP members punished for Graham's actions.

Rather, a GOP victory among those people who defy Graham would be the slap in the face he deserves.

If you can think well enough to find your shoes in the morning, you can see the illogic in Graham's "thinking" on this. I dont' think McCain is defering to Goober's expertise. This is the result he wants.
