If Warner, McCain and Graham have Presidential ambitions this is good ammunition for their primary opponents. Politically, they are going to regret this big time.

The only problem for their primary opponents is the Republican National Committee would not want them (Graham, Warner or McCain should they run) heavily criticized for this.
Could cause a minor rift within the GOP.
