It was a thing of beauty. The male morning CNN host kept trying to get Tony to respond to the House Majority Leader's statement of yesterday, the one that said Rats were more concerned about protecting Al Qaida than the American people. Tony, rolling his eyes and having none of it, shifted the conversation to the awful things the Rats have been saying and said only moments after the President's 9/11 speech. The CNN guy kept trying to force Tony to "talk about Republicans" and Tony kept explaining to him why that was ridiculous and unfair.
The CNN guy then showed a poll suggesting that 43% of Americans believe Saddam Hussein was linked to 9/11. Tony suggested that this was probably due to the Rats lying about what the President has actually said on this. CNN guy then tried to claim that VP Cheney's statements on MTP last Sunday and Senator Santorum's statements on the Senate floor yesterday actually caused Americans to be confused about the Saddam-9/11 link. Tony hit it out of the park again, saying that both these gentlemen were absolutely correct and that the media and the Rats have been the ones confusing Americans by claiming that "no link to 9/11" means "no link to war on terror."
Tony was terrific!
to snoq =to mop someone's clock!
getting snoqqed= getting your clock mopped.
Well, he did have manly women with him . . . .
Tony IS terrific!
Mixed but I like it.
It may be the new Hugh or Super Serial.
He found it to be a piece of pie, and easy as cake.
Plus, they didn't need kneepads.
I heard a rumor that David Gregory has purchased a walker and gotten a handicap sticker for his vehicle. Seems like the verbal whippings from TONY SNOW have taken a toll on him.
Islamo-ationist.
Give the man a raise!
Of course such a conclusion comes from nothing I have written but is hardly a surprise. No reasonable person could draw such an unwarranted and illogical conclusion from our discussion but that is also hardly a surprise. Jumping to unwarranted conclusions must be your hobby.
Tony Snow is the most engaging and most effective press secretary in memory. (Note how the MSM and C-SPAN have responded by reducing coverage.)
Groan.
Now, you have me thinking of that song from years back, "Yummy, yummy, yummy, I've got love in my tummy, and I'm feeling all right..."
And now I can't help but wonder if that song was about unwed pregnancy...which would sorta be like water over the bridge.
Gregory should know that you never go into a rake fight unarmed. But then, that's David - overmatched and underprepared.
LOL!
How long have you been mixing metaphors in a blender?;^)
Well.....I suppose it's Tony that inspires me that way.
Those leftist journalists need to know they just can't pull the wool out from under his eyes!
If you need people around you to make you look good, could we say you have a serious ego, character, and behavior problem. None of these apply to our present President. I hadn't really thought about it until you mentioned it, but it speaks volumes. Our President is daily castigated for his attention to exactly what the country is in need of.
He remains steadfast in the face of constant badgering by utter fools who would throw us and the country literally under the bus (not sure who came up with that one but it sure is descriptive).
How he is able to remain the cool collected man that he is, while facing unending adversity, is no mystery and is far more than I would ever be capable of. They would cart me off in a straight jacket the first time I failed to suffer fools with a straight face.
Too bad there are so many squeaky wheels in the presidential press briefings, that Tony has to deal with on a daily basis. There is a lesson there for all of us about the caliber of men in the Bush White House. Oddly enough there seems to be a rather normal death rate among friends associates, acquaintances and members of this administration.
Well said.
Likewise the WOT. Saddam may not have direct involvement in 9/11 but there was a congruence of intent and he certainly bankrolled terror attacks around the world.
Tony is right here. It shows that 43% of americans don't pay much attention but know without a doubt that if the democrats are saying it, it must be wrong.
