I didn't know if there was a west coast version of this thread. It didn't make sense to post on a show that was almost over on the East Coast.

You asked -- "Who is this guy who was caught in Port Angeles?"

I can't remember his name, but I sure do remember him being caught, as everyone was "skittish" about something happening for the turn of the Millennium. I was up in Portland at that time, so it was fairly close to home.

There was also something over in the New England states, too, I believe -- about that same time (crossing over into the U.S. from Canada).

Regards,
Star Traveler

The ACLU might not like you mentioning Churchill in your tag line since it contains the word "church". :)

I'm not at that part of the show, but as I recall, Masood was assassinated when someone pretending to be a newsman hid a bomb in a camera and blew it up.

Hillary never had a prayer of being President. She's too cold, too unlikeable, too shrill, too "icky". :) There's just nothing likeable about her, and there are 25 years of skeletons in her closet. Most of the country doesn't know HALF the stuff about her that happened before she and Bill became President. Arkansas is still full of stuff they did for 20 years that would destroy her in a national election. I personally hope that Hillary becomes Senate Minority leader and completes the radical frothing liberal trifecta with Howard Dean as DNC Chariman, Nancy Peloosie as House Minority Leader and Billary Clinton as Senate Minority Leader. With the three of them in those positions, the Democrats would be all hate all spew and all shrill all the time, and never come close to gaining seats in any elections. I PRAY for a Minority Leader Hillary Clinton. Would be the best thing since Dean became DNC Chair and Peloosie became House Minority Leader. Both of those have been gifts that keep on giving. One only has to point to things they say in their own words to show how insane the left is and how owned it is by the radical liberal left.

Tenet was the head of the FBI who stayed on after GW took over and later wrote a quite REVEALING book (My FBI) about Clintoon's antics. (I'm quite sure he was the one, HELP, someone? I'd hate to give the wrong info!)

Tenant was head of CIA. Louis Freeh was head of FBI, and the guy that wrote the book you are thinking of.

Anyone who would oppose smacking around a terrorist to extract information that would stop an attack saving thousands, hundreds, dozens, or even just one life, is a sick demented person. Whether a loved one or a stranger, I'd gladly and with great fervor beat the snot out of ANYONE who had information that would stop an attack that would kill ANY number of Americans. Anyone who wouldn't do the same is sick in their head. The terrorist will recover from the beating. The civilians killed in a terrorist attack won't recover from being dead anytime soon I don't believe.

If information can be extracted without torture, of course that should ALWAYS be first. But when the rubber meets the road, they sit there smiling at you, you know they know something, and you know people will die if the terrorist doesn't tell you what they know, well, some bruises for them is what I say.

Any critic of physical means of extracting information, I'd like to see them say on the record that if they knew that their loved ones, their wife/husband, or parents, or children, were going to die in the attack, and they could only get the information to stop the attack by beating them up some, and they wouldn't do that, they're full of it. If they love their family member at all, they'll smack the guy around until he talks, and if they'd do it for someone they love, and then critique someone doing it to save strangers, well they're a hypocrit. So critics of mild physical means of extracting information as a last resort in crunch time scenarios when an attack is impending, they're either a terrible hypocrit, or do not value human life. It's that simple.

correct...a very astute female customs agent caught the slimeball. My brother is a customs agent and has unbelieveable stories.

It is becoming more and more apparent that Richard Clark and Bill Clinton were acting together in their mutual ineffectiveness, as they have acted together since.

I think the only other person you could put in that category of "being there" was George Bush. He was the one who had to make the big decisions from a flying White House and worry about everyone "on the ground" in NY. Sometimes being the leader has a real steep "downside".

Big time. Your statement is so accurate unfortunately. Too many Americans are far too weak and don't understand that desperate means are required to fight a desperate enemy as sick as the Islamo-fascist terrorists. War sucks and it's horrible and no one wants to go to war but if it's a choice between war, and the country being destroyed in our lifetime or ever, well, bring on the war. Freedom and liberty is worth fighting for.
