I didn't know if there was a west coast version of this thread. It didn't make sense to post on a show that was almost over on the East Coast.

Had to grow poppies because the Clinton State Dept. probably cut off funding to him.

ARE THERE ANY MEN LEFT IN WASHINGTON?
NO, BUT THERE ARE A FEW GOOD MEN.
THE UNITED STAES MARINES.
GOD BLESS THEM, FIGHTING WITH NO BACKBONE FROM WASHINGTON COWARDS.

Here's the part with Berger. He's on video phone asking for someone else to take the blame. NA waiting... the hang-up and "pull back! pull back!" part was cut.

There was a scene where the AQ fighters in Afghanistan are shooting their machine guns at a large screen where Clinton is giving a speech. They are screaming "Clinton is the devil".
D*mn that looked like fun... :-)

Now the setup for the bombing of the Nairobi embassy. The "men" at the top of the administration look like skittish old women. or even weaker than that!

I agree with many of your points, and particularly your last point about Islam, but I didn't see this danger being highlighted as I would have liked to have seen. In fact, I would say it was fairly airbrushed out save for the occasional reference. To me at least, they portrayed Yusef as just some deranged madman who liked to build bombs and kill people. They did not highlight motivations well enough.

-"That is pretty narrow pro-life thinking. How about the 47 million unborn children who have already been aborted in the USA since 1973. Giulliani doesn't care one cojones about them. I would never vote for a pro-abort because if they don't get the life issue right, all their thinking is wrongly skewed." I believe that taking a life, even in the case of incest or rape, is MURDER! So, don't lecture me about 'narrow thinking'. But, if I'm given a choice about who's the best person (above and beyond anyone else) to look out for all of us, it's a simple choice. Beside, Giuilinani can't possibly under-perform Reagan, who's own Supreme Court apppointments (O'Connor and Kennedy) voted against Pro Life!
See, even Reagan couldn't guarantee a Pro-Life vote.
Seems to me that it's your thinking that's reflective of 'narrow' ('who cares about any other issue') thinking.
"So, it's okay if somebody kills bin Laden, as long as he [Clinton, I assume] doesn't give the order. That's pathetic."
Freaking OUCH!
"Are there any men left in Washington? Or are they all cowards?"
OUCH again!
I just started watching this. It appears it wasn't sanitized as much as some would have liked. Heh, heh.....

The Tenet Burglar scene was shown.
Their waffling about "assassination" and collateral damage and "who will take the blame" would have been funny if the stakes weren't so high.
Everyone up to the President just worried about covering their sorry rear ends.
The Clinton gang were a pathetic bunch of losers.

The other important theme running throughout this piece is the central role of radical Islam in all of this. Every scene in the Middle East projects a sense of seething hatred for the West. I thought it was very well done.

Excellent observation. Really the point of the movie. We are still, to a large degree unaware of how radically different islamic civilization is than our own. And how committed to our destruction they are.

I also found it interesting that they devoted a good amount of time for the sentencing judge to pull a CAIR moment. Interesting. I had the exact opposite take on that scene. I thought the judge showing the contrast between the islam of the terrorists and the islam that most muslims follow was good and needed. They need to show how the wahabists have corrupted islam and that judge did that to a small degree. Yes it could have been more, but then, it might have been too in your face and disregarded completely.
I also think the early scene with the terrorist scared of the interogation was good, it showed him as weak. The other one that ran away, showed that they all don't consider it an honor to die or martyr themselves.
I think they will try to hit Bush, but it won't stick. He wasn't in the WH long enough and a plan deal with aviation within the country doesn't narrow things down enough. Certainly a lot more vague than a physical ID of Osama bin hidin in his camp.

"Why wasnt there a thorough investigation regarding MrBurger?."
Now the question is why did Sandy Burglar not wind up in prison for his thievery of classified documents?
