I didn't know if there was a west coast version of this thread. It didn't make sense to post on a show that was almost over on the East Coast.
That fact has not changed....we are a haven for anyone who wants to kill us.
I think terrorism is #1... and the strongest candidate (in the GOP)gets my vote.
So far, I've only found about three - five seconds of SIGNIFICANT stuff cut. That is the part where Burglar can't take the pressure of the CIA people asking for a decision, so he just cuts the connection.
They also cut most of the IR sensor night vision stuff and some of the dialogue from the snatch team, but that wasn't significant.... And they DID leave the most important part of that... When the Commander of the Northern Alliance said "Are there any MEN left in Washington, or are they all cowards."
WE are awake(!); but for sure. . .THEY need to wake-up. Too late smart is not an option. . .
And the rest of the Leftist enclave that makes up our European 'friends'; need to wake up as well.
Cannot fathom what part of 'enemy'. . .pain and suffering - and 'peril' they cannot understand.

The movie ended around 10:40 EST, followed by an annoying edition of Nightline, which seems to be the vehicle that made the DNC talking points. Cynthia McFadden snarkily noted that the movie was "fictionalized." More accurately, it was dramatized, as you have to do when actors are playing the roles of the real people involved.
I'm afraid that the dem whining all week might have cost this fine movie some conservative viewers. If you who missed it ever get the chance, see it on DVD. It's a serious accounting of what led up to 9/11. For obvious reasons, putting most of a decade into two and a half hour movie requires some compression, LOL. The movie left a devastating impression about Tenet, Berger, Clinton, and Albright. In tonight's Nightline commentary, Richard Clarke is trying to hang it all on Tenet. I think that is the current party line.
I'll bet Bill n' Hill spent tonight watching a "documentary" about 9/11, one they can fully agree with.
That's right: they got out their DVD of Fahrenheit 9/11
and watched THAT...
You will be suprised.
The only two scenes that looked like they were edited were 1) Berger hanging up on the Bin Laden hit and 2) videotape of Clinton testifying about Monica.
I still think the prevailing theme was very obvious without these scenes - the Clinton Administration was a bunch of boobs.

While I like Rudy and deeply respect him, before seeing this documentary; I would NEVER have voted for him. That is no longer the case.

Probably so but the difference there is that Bush wasn't whining about how he is portrayed and the Republican congressional leadership isn't sending threatening letters to ABC. I don't thing GWB is too worried about his "legacy", unlike Clinton.

What was worse than the moron was Richard Clark,and ABC consultant, giving his two worthless bits of commentary.
That piece of garbage. And there are psychos who believe every word, and many of them can vote! It's mind boggling!
OK, I've got to eat crow.
I looked again and I found ABC on my available channels.
I've never watched them before, and didn't know where to look.
My disappointment while watching this was that I don't think the average viewer is going to be following along with the storyline too easily. Most of us here recognize the names, have followed every nook and cranny of this story, have studied it to no end, but what about "average Joe" out there? Did he even know the the blind sheik is/was? Does he understand this original plan came from that sicko Yusef? Had they tuned out because this is a very complicated story at first glance?
I also found it interesting that they devoted a good amount of time for the sentencing judge to pull a CAIR moment.
To top that off, the film quality wasn't the typical slick made-for-TV-movie look that most viewers are used to, so I worry they might have tuned out early on.
Quite honestly, I was hoping for something that would pull the average viewer in and finally show the the truth. I'm hoping I'm wrong.
Clinton comes across very badly... worth the watch.
