Part one shown on Australian TV this evening.
Don't miss it, my Freeper friends. It's no wonder the Clintonistas have thrown everything at ABC/Disney, in a desperate effort to have the miniseries cancelled. Documents exactly what we've been following over the years on FR. Brave agents on the ground in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Dedicated people at Langley and the J. Edgar Hoover building, working around the clock to capture or kill Bin Laden, Ramzi Yusef et al. And all their efforts derailed by Clinton appointees like Berger and Allbright- selfishly putting their own careers (and covering their asses) before protecting the USA. The line of the show delivered by the actor playing Masood, brave and charismatic leader of the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan:
...are there any men left in Washington? Or are they all cowards?....
Take the phone off the hook, and don't miss it. All the best, Byron

By the way, I caught most of CNN's "Footsteps of Bin Laden" last night, and it was excellent. I'd never known about his past or how he came to be what he is now. No rational person can watch it and come away believing that the U.S. is to blame for the rise of Islamofascism.
I missed that, but I saw a brief interview with some author on FoxNews yesterday. He wrote a book about bin Laden. Per him, OBL doesn't have kidney problems, does have back problems, is basically a nice, but misunderstood man, is only worth about $7 million from the family business, etc.
The author was almost with kneepads in his lauding bin Laden. News-readerette Paige Hopkins soon cut him off and went to break.

No, ABC announced all edits were finished Friday.
They should not be...if they were telling the truth....doing any more edits.

It is, of course, the combination of feckless responses to the 93 WTC attack, the US embassy attacks in Africa and the USS Cole that emboldened not only OBL but the terrorists everywhere. We can also do some fingerpointing along those lines to Carter and even Reagan and Bush 1.
Much of the blame does indeed rest on Clinton's shoulders and his 8 year tenure of hell though. The attacks were escalating in boldness and frequency.

Byron,
Thank you very much.
Please advise..... is this a Bush bashing film??
To: rwfromkansas
But, what is amazing is that ABC actually picked up this film despite his beliefs. And all of us who want to see more truth on network TV have the obligation to make this one of the most-watched specials in the history of television, so that networks can see their is a pent-up demand for similar programming. If you don't watch it when it's offered, don't complain that there isn't any truthful network programming.

I know I won't be raking in the dough, but all the career paths I have considered where I would make money just don't appeal.
Teaching is just dang fun. I love it. The day goes by so fast, and it is not stressful (until you plan the lessons, of course) I have a love for journalism as well, but the pay in that field is even less.
It is ronic how both my considered career paths are low-paying and infested with libs. :)
But, I like being a standout from the rest.

You sure you're not thinking of John Miller's interview with Osama? It aired June 10, 1998. Another Miller interview ran December 24, 1998.

rw,, they have clips of the stuff that have been left on the cutting room floor. Some pretty damning stuff.

Clip #2 is a riot (especially the first couple minutes). There's all this serious talk and work happening on the ground, and then Bill Clinton shows up on the screen, in court, "...they did not include any activity that was within the definition of sexual relations..." LOL.
No wonder he's so PO'd about this airing! This scene alone is saying "Hey, there's all this terrorism and terrorism planning happening, and while it was happening Clinton was in court, wasting time and money and disgracing the office of the President.

Better yet, if the unedited version is available on DVD in Australia, there will be a great after-market opportunity for Aussies to resell them here in Frivolous Entertainment Nation to thoses as care.
