Documents exactly what we've been following over the years on FR. Brave agents on the ground in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Dedicated people at Langley and the J. Edgar Hoover building, working around the clock to capture or kill Bin Laden, Ramzi Yusef et al. And all their efforts derailed by Clinton appointees like Berger and Allbright- selfishly putting their own careers (and covering their asses) before protecting the USA. The line of the show delivered by the actor playing Masood, brave and charismatic leader of the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan:

Thanks for the review. Not ot go off on a tangent, but, I always thought it was "interesting" that Masoud was assasinated. I think things would be different in Afghanistan if he had lived. Apparently, he was a larger than life, effectual leader who was adored by the people.
You didn't happen to tape it did you? Would love to see if it differs from the US version...
There was a huge, one full ad in the New York Times today for the show.
Maybe, just maybe, ABC edited and cut a copy, burned it on to a DVD and sent it to Disgraced, Disbarred, and Impeached, but will show the uneditied and uncut original on TV.

OMG! They actually think Berger can get a restraining order against ABC to prevent this from going to air? Talk about a constitutional crisis. LOL!
No....whether they realize it or not, the backup copy of the program has already been satellite-fed to the local stations (this is done routinely so that a satellite failure will not cause shows and money to be lost) and is sitting on their hard drives (raid).
I doubt if they could do any more editing and complete it in time to re-feed all the affiliates.
I'll float one of my usual wrong theories here. It is true that the Clintons were not used to being defied. They had all the power of the Government, and vast resources of private investigations to brutally retaliate against those with whom they were displeased.
However, shall I say, business is business. While Hollywood and the major networks were "in the tank" for Clinton, it cost them money, big time. Now, perhaps, there is a chance to make some of that money back. The first shot at profiting off the Clintons may be fired with this series. After that, there may be more, ALOT more.
The Clintons were about so much that Hollywood adores. I mean just think about it. Raw ruthless power, greed, drugs, oodles of sex, violence, cowardice, political intrigue. There are so many possible stories to do on the Clintons and so much money to be made that perhaps the gloves have come off. There's gold in them thar Clintons, and the rush might be on.
Perhaps they are trying to regain some thread of credibility?
Hard to believe that the MSM would do something like that.
