Part one shown on Australian TV this evening.
Don't miss it, my Freeper friends. It's no wonder the Clintonistas have thrown everything at ABC/Disney, in a desperate effort to have the miniseries cancelled. Documents exactly what we've been following over the years on FR. Brave agents on the ground in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Dedicated people at Langley and the J. Edgar Hoover building, working around the clock to capture or kill Bin Laden, Ramzi Yusef et al. And all their efforts derailed by Clinton appointees like Berger and Allbright- selfishly putting their own careers (and covering their asses) before protecting the USA. The line of the show delivered by the actor playing Masood, brave and charismatic leader of the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan:
...are there any men left in Washington? Or are they all cowards?....
Take the phone off the hook, and don't miss it. All the best, Byron
Actually it's must-miss TV as it is on opposite Manning vs. Manning.
(So I'll have to tape it.)

The DU uproar is just precious. Thanks for posting the link.
It would make a great Christmas gift for any moonbat relative, neighbor or associate...
I know, I have an evil mind...
What are they going to do about the President's address @ 9 ET on Monday? Will the Monday portion be shown in it's entirety after the speech?
I love the "we're going to boycott ESPN and football!" comments.
As if there's some huge intersection, between the set of DUmmies, and the set of dedicated football fans.
Sounds like ABC went on their intial word and didn't edit the movie.
""...and that witch of an Attorney General...""
"Interesting you should mention that. One of the characters in 'The Path' is wary of acting on his own iniative, due to the Reno/Waco precedent. Doesn't want to be left twisting in the wind by Clinton, in the event something goes wrong."
A fascinating comment on priorities - burn down a compound full of kids vs. hamstringing the war on terror.
When the movie is over, I will boycott ABC too.
Thank you
Burger is a $%*&&* coward.
Those people (the CRAZY PEOPLE!) make the term "conservative" seem like a bad thing.
< sarcasm >I had no idea of the vigorous and highly intellectual discourse that was going on over there < /sarcasm >
Agree, Manning vs. Manning is must-see TV. The answer to the conflicts: TiVo, my FRiend. Dual-channel, DirecTiVo, to be specific.
And see my previous comment, re: DUmmies and football boycotts.
"In a statement Friday, former Vice President Al Gore said, 'I am deeply concerned that ABC is considering going forward with their plans to broadcast this so-called docudrama.' "

The good news is that Gore still has not completely ruled out a second run.

and D U mmies are ecstatic:
"Okay, this is some of the best news I've heard in a while. If Wesley Clark would agree to be his V.P., I'd be in heaven. I've always been a Clarkie but I sure as hell would vote for Gore. In a heartbeat. Or faster.
It'll depend on the reaction to it. If their focus groups showing people angered at them they'll have to act.
Amen to that. Bin Laden is not even relevant. Zawahiri is the CEO of Al Queda, was the inspiration for all Osama has chosen to do, and continues to be the driving force of the organization. Killing these guys would be nice of course, but we can't control that, with half of Pakistan willing to protect them. Meanwhile we need to remain vigilant against suspicious Muslims in America and abroad, closely coordinate with foreign intelligence services, and do the best we can. The one clear message of "Path" is that those in office prior to 9/11 did NOT do their best, and could have easily stopped this thing in its tracks if they had done even half their best.
Ok, all of you who have been DUmpster diving must now go shower. Take your time...we'll wait. ;o)
My question is WHY did ABC/Disney tell the truth? One would think such organizations would naturally go for the pro-left version, being part of the MSM.
Hey FP, the boycott ESPN stuff is great, pretty soon they'll be cancelling Queer Day at Disney..
The one DUer is saying the Burglar ought to get a restraining order on ABC (a conservative organization). My only thought is that I am sure he has one stuffed somewhere down his pants, he just needs to find it.
I hope ABC shows the unedited version tonight here!
