This kind of pressure and censureship is appalling.

From what I understand, key players were misquoted and accounts fictionalized.

It's nothing more than crap if it's not historically accurate, so I hope if it's not, these edits make it so.

Clinton Goes After ABC Harder Than He Pursued Bin-Laden

So very true.

Bill can't spin this. History WILL win.

"If there is anything that pisses off the higher ups at Google it is intentionally attempting to manipulate how the internet's most used search engine works, and the little despots in training at the lefty blogs might very well get a very rude awakening if and when they attempt this stunt."

The children running Google are as left wing as it gets.

They will WELCOME the leftwing actions.

Can you imagine the screaming, the tearing of clothes and the howl of 'Censorship!!' if Bush had even hinted about wanting Michael Moores "Farenheit 911" edited.

Funny, Kerry worked to supress the Swift Boat Vets - but that wasn't censorship.

Clinton is trying to shut down the 911 docu-drama - but that isn't censorship.

Republicans grumbled about the slash-job on Ronald Reagan - that WAS called censorship.

No double standard here, huh?

The Clintonista's strong arm tactics with ABC speaks volumes regarding

how fragile the Clinton legacy actually is,

with a singular event threatening to sink his carefully crafted legacy of deceit.

I just caught Glen "I'm a conservative" beck on CNN headline news defending the clinton attacks on this movie. It didn't take long for ol' glen to show his true colors as a typical left-wing MSN RAT lapdog. I knew he was a phony 'conservative', but I didn't understand why CNN hired him until now.

This kind of pressure and censorship is unprecendented. Usually, it's the grassroots that initiate action (see the Reagan docudrama) and attempt to drag politicians into it (not often successfully.) Here the politicos lead. And how!

This episode illustrate the point I've been making for years that the Lefties are all about power and nothing but power and have got their shiite together when it comes to holding power, wielding power and protecting their power. See the 90 years of Communism, 1989 notwithstanding. And they're good at it. Everything else is secondary, everything else they're incompetent doing (see the 90 years of Communism, see North Korea's economy, see the Waco episode, see the handling of bin Laden, etc, etc.) We are witnessing a classic case of their superb ability to act when threatened. ABC will fold, if it hasn't yet.

A bit of an aside...

Richard Miniter was on Howie Carr's radio show (Boston area) today and the topic was this ABC feature and the Clintonistas.

Miniter said he did Joe Scarborough's MSNBC show earlier this week but vowed never to do it again because Scarborough blindsided him and at the end of a disagreement between Roger Cressey and Miniter, Scarborough praised Cressey for being a nonpartisan sort and apparently sided with him. Carr asked "What has become of Scarborough's politics?"

Whoo Hoo! This is great! What is hilarious to me is that the Clinton's wanted us to think that all Bubba did was diddle Monica! Now they gripe because they think we think he was distracted by getting caught diddling Monica! I know that he hates the military and our constitutional form of government! That is the real truth! (that and he did diddle Monica! )

The Klintonistas want to watch continuation of that fantasy TV serial with Martin Sheen playing an idealized version of Bubba, when the sleaziest things were happening in the White House. I believe that this show was at its time a mental diversion not only for the Libs, but for the entire country that did not want to believe or think about the criminal doings of the Toon Gang. The fairy tale helped them forget and not lose their faith in the innocence and greatness of America. We're not a banana republic, are we?!

I heard by Rush and Medved, that the movie is hard on President Bush's Administration, particulary on Condi. You dont see us demanding changes.

Personally, I still dont see how the Bush administration is culpable in any way. They were in office only 8 months. Besides, he did not have his full cabinet in place as of yet.

God!! I am so glad I saw the light in 95.

Proud to be a conservative.

See also, from www.bloggernews.net:
...I spoke a bit this morning during my show on WideAwakesRadio about the immaturity and churlishness of the left, and this is a perfect example. The cries for censorship from the champions of free speech is delightful to hear. The calls for slander lawsuits by public figures [Paul Begala urging Sandy "Just Stuff It In My Pants" Berger to sue] over a docudrama would be laughable were it not so demonstrably pitiful.

How soon they forget. The "documentary" Farenheit 9/11, All the President's Men, JFK, Nixon, the list goes on. All were efforts to synthesize into a few hours storylines that, in real time, took months, even years, to develop. Dramatic license was taken in all, including the melding together of certain real life characters for the screen. There were no shots across the bows of the producers of those movies with threats of regulatory witch-hunts as the Democrats are doing now.

The bottom line is that "The Path to 9/11" will serve to remind us not just of the gravity of what occurred five years ago this Monday, and of the intelligence failures that preceded it over the prior eight years, not just eight months.

They are afraid of this television program. They are truly afraid. And it's funny to watch.

Clinton and the demmies are blackmailing and threatening ABC, but Al Gore doesn't care about *that*!!

http://tinyurl.com/kjkwx

"In a statement Friday, former Vice President Al Gore said, "I am deeply concerned that ABC is considering going forward with their plans to broadcast this so-called docudrama."

Bwahahahahahahahaha!! ABC is the threat after all this time, not those pesky terrorists!! How stupid were we???

If Rush Limbaugh was sent a screener DVD of the unedited film, then he has an obligation as an American patriot, to give that DVD to someone to rip it to DiVX format and post it on the Internet everywhere possible. This also applies to the film's producers and staffers with conscience at ABC.
