ABC is altering its upcoming miniseries "The Path to 9/11" in response to intense criticism from members of the Clinton administration that the two-part, made-for-TV film is filled with factual errors and lies, a network official reportedly said.
Three members of the administration former Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright, former National Security Adviser Samuel R. Berger and Clinton aide Bruce Lindsey, who now heads the Clinton Foundation said they sent letters to Walt Disney Company, parent of ABC, demanding that it re-edit or pull the five-hour film, scheduled for air Sunday and Monday nights without commercial interruption.
The Washington Post reported Friday that an ABC executive, who requested anonymity because the network is making only written comments, said small revisions have been underway for weeks.
Even the POTUS and the ex-POTUS didn't get a copy.
It's my firm opinion that Rush was singled out to receive a copy from the producers as insurance.
I won't go into all the details of my reasoning, but folks......stop and think about this. The fact that Rush has an unedited copy in his hands is almost as big as the successful threat and blackmail ploy by those in an official branch of our government.
This story has legs. If the President and the Administration don't take advantage of the successful. appalling Stalinist censorship and repression move by powerful elected officials, I'll be wild with anger.
Leni
It aired in the US and I watched it....I thought it was pretty damning to the rapist, which really surprised me.
Some "conservatives" rather teach the Republicans a lesson! Even if it returns the American haters back to power to complete their surrender of our country.
How can anyone believe that fighting Islamo-Nazis was a priority for the Clintonistas before 9/11 - when it still isn't a priority today?
Have you all seen the message boards over at ABC Politics Board or Good Morning America Message Board? It's pathetic. They are all "demanding a BOYCOTT OF ABC AND DISNEY!!!" if they show this film.
Good Lord. I'm sick.
Okay. I take back and change my reference to this which I noted on this post.
Censorship.
Rush said he never received a copy of the tape, He saw it live...
You forget that Rush Limbaugh has seen it.
Up 2 pennies!
If CNN can say it, why can't ABC and the other networks? Is CNN more "conservative" than ABC?
Only those NOT watching the "Manning Bowl".
PEOPLE,
This is what looms ahead if the Democrats win Congress.
Make this hurt them. Make it hurt them badly. Get out and volunteer your time and money to vulnerable House districts -- Which May Not Be Your Own.
A list is here:

There is more around post 50.
Where is the media? Where are the opponents of censorship?
They should be screaming about this.
I can't wait for Neil Gabler to speak against this on Fox News Watch </sarcasm>
More confusion.
President Bush is asking for air time to give a speech on Monday night at 9:00. heh.
This is what they are pasting all over the ABC boards to show all that "Clinton DID to stop terrorism!"

In part:
Measures taken by the Clinton administration to thwart international terrorism and bin Laden's network were historic, unprecedented and, sadly, not followed up on. Consider the steps offered by Clinton's 1996 omnibus anti-terror legislation, the pricetag for which stood at $1.097 billion. The following is a partial list of the initiatives offered by the Clinton anti-terrorism bill:
Screen Checked Baggage: $91.1 million
Screen Carry-On Baggage: $37.8 million
Passenger Profiling: $10 million
Screener Training: $5.3 million
Screen Passengers (portals) and Document Scanners: $1 million
Deploying Existing Technology to Inspect International Air Cargo: $31.4
million
Provide Additional Air/Counterterrorism Security: $26.6 million
Explosives Detection Training: $1.8 million
Augment FAA Security Research: $20 million
Customs Service: Explosives and Radiation Detection Equipment at Ports: $2.2 million
Give me a friggin' Break! They CANNOT take one word against their God.
The government is doing this. Elected officials did threaten action, both explicitly and implicitly.
This is censorship.
Yes, when threatened by Senators and/or Cngressman to 'closely review' their license etc, I am alluding that the First Amendment is being trampled on.
Incorrect.
Rush very specifically said that he got a copy (shipped to him unsolicited) after he saw a screening.
Not *exactly* censorship. ABC decides to call a spade a spade. Clinton demands that it be called a diamond. And ABC decides to compromise and call it a heart. Which leaves it exactly useless and an insult to anyone with ears, eyes, and half a brain.
ROTFLMAO!
