Rush got a copy of the (5-hour, I believe) tape in advance.

Even the POTUS and the ex-POTUS didn't get a copy.

It's my firm opinion that Rush was singled out to receive a copy from the producers as insurance.

I won't go into all the details of my reasoning, but folks......stop and think about this. The fact that Rush has an unedited copy in his hands is almost as big as the successful threat and blackmail ploy by those in an official branch of our government.

This story has legs. If the President and the Administration don't take advantage of the successful. appalling Stalinist censorship and repression move by powerful elected officials, I'll be wild with anger.

Like it or not our President is above using this as a political football.

But before jumping on the "I hate ABC" bandwagon, I want to remind some of my friends here on FR that when CBS came out with the Reagan movie starring none other than Mr Babs Streisand, we were infuriated and put pressure on CBS to cave thus they moved the BS they called a movie to Showtime.

The Rat bustards are doing the same, except Congress didn't get involved.

Hi Leni,

IMO We won't hear the "actual" response to the Rats letter until after it is aired. Have been wondering if the tweaking that is being done is actually to the Rats' advantage. ABC put on a disclaimer that it's fictional and then "tweaks it to make them look even worse.
