Ky. Plane Crash Survivor Asks 'Why?'
By JEFFREY McMURRAY The Associated Press Wednesday, September 6, 2006; 10:47 PM
LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The sole survivor of a plane crash that killed 49 people near the Lexington airport last week told family members from his hospital bed, "Why did God do this to me?" but he hasn't mentioned the crash, a close family friend said Wednesday.
James Polehinke, who was the flight's co-pilot, can move only his head, and tears often well up in his eyes, said Antonio Cruz, Polehinke's mother's boyfriend. He said the 44-year-old has been in and out of consciousness.

(I wonder how { } work? They're not precisely parentheses. They're brackets. Can evos see what is {inside brackets?} And then there are these squared-off bracket things..[]...I think they're called braces. )

It was dark, it isn't that odd to miss the numbers. Being unlit should have been the tipoff. You are also on top of the numbers and being BIG, you really can't see them. The numbers are there for landing, not takeoff, which is why the taxiways, runway lighting are the keys.

Can evos see what is {inside brackets?} Yes. It's lead we can't see through.

How young is 'young'?
I've been down in about 5-6 times. my last was all the way from N rim to South, taking 2 days and staying over night at Phantom. Although the longest, it was the easiest, for we had to carry nothing but some snacks and water. We got over the edge around May 19th - they since had a foot of snow up there!!
It was a bit muddy the first mile, then it dried out.
14 miles down and 8 miles going back up.

(Especially the beginning of the trial, where all the mules um, er, well landmined it.) Freud??
I could hardly walk for days afterward.
I hope you didn't go down 'til you got tired. Coming back up (3-4 times HARDER!) is then a REAL problem!
