BATAVIA, N.Y. (AP) _ Five parents who asked to transfer their children out of Batavia High School classes with a transsexual teacher have been denied, according to city schools Superintendent Richard Stutzman.
The written requests did not meet the guidelines set out by the district, Stutzman said Tuesday without providing specifics. "That's all between the school, the teacher, the parents," he said.......... .

Batavia parents learn more about teacher who wants sex change

Parents in Batavia are getting a lesson on transgender sexuality. The Batavia School District hosted an informational meeting Monday night at the high school. The media was not allowed inside. The meeting occurred because a male earth science teacher will be reporting to school as a woman. Legal experts explained how the teacher is protected under human rights laws and title seven. A transgender expert was also on hand and a doctor was brought in from Tennessee. But some parents weren't happy with what they heard.
I have to go home and tell a 14 year old you have to talk to a teacher whos a male in female clothing. And if you don't address her as a she in 2 weeks, it's harassment because you should be transitioned by now," said Batavia parent Amber Robinson.
Marilyn Drilling is also a parent in Batavia with concerns, it was a huge choice for him to make. Im more concerned about the disruption it will make in the next few weeks."
A special meeting for students is scheduled for next Tuesday, which is the first day of school. A community-wide meeting will be held September 12th.

Unfreakingbelievable.
What amazes me is these parents who haven't ripped their children out of public screwel. If this is okay with them, then obviously anything is okay with them. Imagine trying to explain to your kid (a) what being a transsexual is and (b) why they have to accept/tolerate it.
It's so beyond criminally insane that I can't even say anything more. It's nothing but child abuse. Mental abuse.
I'd call it "contributing to the deliquency of a minor" but I guess that's not a punishable offense any more. In fact, it seems to be manditory.

We had this going on in our office ~ many men were bothered immensely by his presence ~ just couldn't trust him.
It's highly disruptive and children should not be subjected to this sort of torture and abuse by school administrators.
The other parents are afraid ~ when you have an individual running about mutilating himself, apparantly with the support of the courts and expensive lawyers, you should be reluctant to face down these kooks. On the other hand, you should get your kid out of that situation.

Now there is there understatement of the decade!
TIMOTHY DEBRUYCKER is a science teacher...but no pic.
Because there's some people on it who make you feel ~oogie~? No thank you, I still like it here!
The Lord will do things in His time...not ours.
We know what we have to do.
That's exactly what it is. Sick, isn't it?
The school is kinda forgetting who pays their salaries.
This ping list is for the "other" articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. If you want on/off this list, please freepmail me. The main Homeschool Ping List by DaveLoneRanger handles the homeschool-specific articles.
Since when do the schools decide whether or not parents can place their children in whomever hands they choose? Back in the day, this teacher would have been tenderized a bit, and ran out of town on a rail.
In that case, it would only have to be one parent complaining and the teacher would be let go.
If this teacher really cared about the children, he/she/it would take a job in the district office.
Sure are busy tonight aren't you?
