No where here is anybody asking who will be the best Senator,Nelson or Harris? Isn`t that kinda important? Shouldn`t that decide the election?

I'm thinking that she is astride a borrowed horse with borrowed tack. You are quite right about the stirrups being the wrong length. She probably threw her blanket over some old plug for a walk around the ring to gather some applause.

>>>So you have to be a Jesus Freak to be a real conservative these days.<<<
Nonsense. But it is true that no true conservative would criticize a Christian conservative. But you were never a conservative at any time, right Davey boy?

The out of Florida bashers have been comparing Harris to Keyes for weeks....pure bogus....no comparison.
She has a voting record and has won several elections & served admirably in many different elected offices.

I've noticed that. Most of these people will vote for who ever they're told to vote for.

Look at the way the south is going and fla is no different.Florida is just barely a southern state culturally. The panhandle and parts of the gulf coast may be, but the populous atlantic coast and especially southern florida is more like NY than Mississippi.

I pointed out a fact, and you posted a fallacy. Try again.

Actions speak louder than words.voting record should be enough.I didn't think about that. She would have a voting record in the House, and that would indicate if she backs up her words in truth. But if she is going to beat an incumbent, she will need to have some speaking skills. She may have them. I simply have never heard her speak. (I threw out my television twenty years ago.)

Do you really think there are that many independents in fla?LOL--I have a theory that some voters in Florida register sans party affiliation to lessen the amount of incoming phone calls and flyers in the months leading up to the elections.

Try this, in the general election, more than just crazy fundementalist wingnuts have the opportunity to vote. If you think the nut cases who voted for Harris are representative of Florida voters overall, your nuts. During the primary something like 10-20% of registered Republicans vote. So only a vocal minority. Add in independents and a few conservative Dems and you have a potential victory. Having Harris as the candidate will drive away all but those nuts who voted for her in the primary while motivating the Dems to come out in drove because "she stole the 2000 election". Eschew political consulting. Keep your day job.

But you are forgetting the gulf coast and the pan handel which is bigtime conservative.they had two demawit senators last time remember? Then martinez won. Jeb has won twice and his favorability is the envy of most governors.so i would say the state is to the right and going to stay there.

Do the majority of people in Bizarro World live in Florida? ...Heck no, y'all just have your own ilk herd, they're sticking together to maximize their disruption and division. They're easy to spot.

... Since the days of the Schwarzenegger/McClntock days I am convinced this wonderful place is sliding back into madness. Its just become a target and is fully infiltrated by a thousand different petty interest groups. Judge people by the wisdom, or lack of, of their posts. Its all we can do.
