Look at the way the south is going and fla is no different.

Florida is just barely a southern state culturally. The panhandle and parts of the gulf coast may be, but the populous atlantic coast and especially southern florida is more like NY than Mississippi.

But you are forgetting the gulf coast and the pan handel which is bigtime conservative.they had two demawit senators last time remember?Then martinez won. Jeb has won twice and his favorability is the envy of most governors.so i would say the state is to the right and going to stay there.

I live on that coast, and while there are plenty of transplants, you are wrong about the demographics.

We get refugees now from most every blue state and it doesn't appear that they bring liberal baggage with them.

Quite the contrary. - Check out the population changes over the past 2 years.
