TAMPA, Fla. (AP) Katherine Harris won the Republican primary for a U.S. Senate seat.
The lady is a true conservative.. I'm sure you've checked her voting record against Nelson's?
I guess I need to be informed about why she is a terrible choice to be a Senator.
Let's see - there are Boxer, Feinstein, Snow, Clinton and it goes on and on!! They are not terrible choices to be a Senator?
We should be proud to send a conservative, decent woman to be our Senator! She is going to be a big help for the conservative cause.
Forget about horses, stirrups and all the fluff being talked about. The liberals would kill to keep her out of the Senate! She will be one more stake in their dark treasonist hearts.
Conservatives believe in limited government.
Jesus Freaks believe in a theocracy.
Very well said Marine! Simple an to the point BTTT!
Florida is mostly Protestant, with a Roman Catholic community that is growing because of immigration. There is also a sizable Jewish community, located mainly in South Florida; no other Southern state has such a large Jewish population. Florida's current religious affiliations are shown in the table below:
Ahh... I seeeeeee now! It's clear to me!!! Those 82% of Christians are going to stay home because they agree with DaveS and LF and the Old Media FRAUDcasters that Christians should not express themselves politically!
I guess Harris and the Republicans should just give up now, throw in the towel, save their money and campaign funds... Harris can't possibly win in a place that's only 82% Christian with a pro-Christian message!
Ain't FR a great place? You can learn so much about the ins and outs and complexities of politics here from out-of-staters!
I hear ya. ....and the reasons people come up with for (strongly) disliking her are revealing -- they usually don't like her looks and/or her mannerisms.
lets see bill nelson on a horse.......
Actions speak louder than words.voting record should be enough.
While I do not completely agree with Harris, I cannot disagree with his position since it is based on American History!
Read our history. Learn. Look at our Currency. The House has a paid Christian (once upon a time) Preacher who opened each session.
She is on rock solid bedrock, and I am not a Christian!

I'm a Jesus Freak and I don't believe in theocracy. That is a nice cliche however, you going to throw Taliban around too? The Bill of Rights was built on Judeo/Christian values and specifically the Bible and 10 Commandments.
I do believe that if someone wins a primary than they are the Candidate in the General Election. Certainly you believe in that, don't you? How is the DNC doing anyway?
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
chuckles...
g'nite all... thanks for all the fun!
Ya gotta love truth:) Thanx for the info!
Can't wait to see the reply to your post BTTT!
Did he have a voting record in Congress to run on?"
Good point. Keyes has held no elective office while Catherine has held three.
Good one Julie:)
Maybe I shudda said "good one to Julie" :)
REVOLTING
Oh--tonight was a great night for the Katherine Harris campaign. After standing at a major traffic intersection this afternoon waving signs with Katherine before the polls closed, we drove up to the Harris campaign HQ tonight. Here's a nice photo of her accepting the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate. Katherine's proud husband Anders is standing to her left. A good time was had by all. Tomorrow we get busy again because there are just over 60 days until the general election. Tonight was a good night to enjoy.
