But what about Cuba? They don't include stats on Cuba because there, THERE, the perfect utopian society is in place, with THE BEST HEALTH CARE IN THE WORLD!!!!!
I read it on the internet, so it must be true.

When I had a serious operation about 5 years ago I looked at the recovery period and happened on to an American site. People were discharged in 2-3 days post op. Here it was 6-10. On the 3rd day post op I saw the consultant and said I wanted to go home. He agreed it was a good thing to do, "saves getting hospital infections." And so I did. I think private medicine probably makes decisions sharper.

I can't imagine the AMA not being opposed to HillaryCare. If my hunch is correct, you can be sure that they, and affiliated groups, will be on TV 24/7 with ads touting such stats.

In my opinion W has taken her plan a long way with his institution of the recent medicines bonanzas for seniors (and I am well into that group).
I see no reason for my progeny to pay Big Pharma for chemicals/medicine for everyone in the USA including the WH invited illegals.

This assumes that the Americans would adopt the very foolish British or Canadian models of public health care, which are about the worst around.
Do the same comparison with France, and things look a bit different.

Emily Morely, 57, of Meath Park, Saskatchewan, discovered that cancer had invaded her liver, lungs, pancreas and spine. She also learned she had to wait at least three months to see an oncologist.Socialized medicine is what the dems want to legislate here in the USA. Anyone thinking about sitting this election out needs to consider the plight of people like Emily Morely.

Prostate cancer proves fatal to 19 percent of its American sufferers. In single-payer Canada, the National Center for Policy Analysis reports, this ailment kills 25 percent of such men and eradicates 57 percent of their British counterparts.Friggin' terrifying. I imagine that the number would be even higher without technology developed by American capitalist concerns...

Given Hillary Clinton's recent comments (see my tagline), I thought it timely to bump this thread.
