Time to bait those moonbats and call them to action. That can only help the GOP.

Sorry to sound cynical, but increasingly I think it is the media that polarizes America for profit

I have thought that exact same thing for a while now. There's big money in elections. Ratings, advertisings....

In an analysis accompanying its findings last week, Gallup said, "The Republican increase does appear to be significant."

The Lamont-Liebermann race may have something to do with this as well.

Lamont would be the zookeeper with the tail and affinity for long, yellow, postassium-laden fruit.

That had to kill them to admit that. It'll be funny to see how/if the drive by media reports these numbers.

It's going to be tough for the Dems to keep them under wraps.

No doubt there is a lot of that; of course they love money. However they really are true believers and they do see things through their "progressive" prisms.

I think there's a good chance a lot of the moonbat money will be diverted to save Lamont at the expense of other Dem candidates.

The generic polls being what they are: basically a way for ratpollsters to cheat and make believe the rat is going to win, this is VERY BAD NEWS FOR THE RAT!

Based on past elections results and their relationship to generic polls leading up to Election Day, a + 2 for the rat will turn into at least a + 2 for us.

The rat ALWAYS wins in Sept. and October then reality sets in. It is common for us to win when the rat goes into Election Day with anything less than a +4.

In 1994 WE were + 6. That is how those who had tracked generics before knew what was coming.

We will pick up 2 to 5 seats in the House and be -1 even or +1 in the Senate. Go home rat, you're going down again.

Gallup and USA Todayhave lost our trust long, long time ago.

The dims strategy is go after the youth [DUH!] through YouTube.com, MySpace.com, and Itunes [which puts $$$$ in algore's wallet] due to total lack of censorship and boredom for adults.

I don't have a good feel for what will happen in Nov and will be sorely disapointed if we lose either or both houses, but the dems have whipped themselves into a frenzy believing they're gonna win big. I can't wait to view the wails and gnashing of teeth in the MSM and DU.

If the media is saying the upcoming election is close, it may be farther apart than they are letting on. Since these polls all sway towards the Democrats, this has got to be a shock to them. Close? When polling companies pad the left?

Anything can happen in the 67 days between now and the election but this sure is a nice feeling to know we are making a difference.

Very true. These polls are always weighted in favor of the Dems. I'm sure the DNC's internals are showing them the same thing.

IMHO

The latest Gallup Poll has a hidden truth that the MSM and others don’t want to talk about.

Working Americans don’t have time to devote to politics until you get very close to election day be it the primaries, special, off-year, or Presidential. The 24/7/365 hyper campaigning that sells news doesn’t get my attention. But come the last two - three weeks prior to an election I start paying attention.

Proof of statement? Why does the unconstitutional voting reform act only limit political speech to 60 days prior to an election? The criminals who wrote and passed that bill knew when the bulk of the electorate start paying attention to their adds so they focused, very carefully, on the beginning of our political awareness.

Heck most of the Democratic party ARE the moonbats and they think the rest of the country supports them. They believe their own hype every time.

I'm sure these numbers are quite a rude surprise for the Dummies this morning. They thought this thing was already a done deal.

We can destroy the current Democrat "traitor/treason" Party at the ballot box this year if we just stop squabbling and get out and vote for the Pubbies. I know the Pubbies are not perfect, but the first objective to getting thing right is to destroy the Democrat Party. Get with it!!! Go out and vote, and...get all you friends and kindred spirits to do exactly the same thing. The future of America is at stake, as is the lives of your children and loved ones!!!

Polls are polls but with a 2% difference in this poll and a 3.9% party trend advantage going to the Democrats in a Rasmussen poll, I'd say the Republicans are in very good shape.

Agreed. I think the key to any midterm is party turnout. The Dems need the GOP voters to be depressed and stay home.
