John Kasich is filling in for O'Reilly and has Dan Senor in studio and former marine, Iraq War vet, and failed Democratic candidate Paul Hackett on via satellite. After asking Dan about pulling out early from Iraq ("redeployment" in Dem-speak), and listening to Dan's very benign opinion, John goes to Hackett who immediately launches into an unprovoked name-calling/smearing of Dan Senor!
This guy wanted to be a Congressman? Unbeleivable!

We seem to pick up on the same statements that come to our attention.
I not only think Kasich didn't handle the two women discussing the Plame affair well, he didn't really know how it all came about. Just agreed that Libby had committed perjury.
Which is still a matter of opinion.
If Fitz. had stopped the investigation, on the White House, as soon as he found out it was Armatage [State Dept. - Powell"s right had man]there would not have been any further need for Fitz.
The charges came after Fitz. had Libby before the Grand Jury several times. Evidently he did not answer exactly the same every time.
I would like to see the questions and his answers. We will never see them though since it was before a Grand Jury.

I can't stand to listen to Kasich either, but I was finishing a paper and wasn't close to a remote so I heard this Hackett's diatribe. I can't believe this man was an officer. He's an embarrassment. |

I have seen some command performance histrionics from the Dems before, but this one was truly unbelievable. Hackett was a combination of Olbermann and Howard Dean at his nuttiest, he just kept getting crazier in his accusations.
Dan Senor was stunned and mystified by the venom of the attack. The look in his eyes said 'I'm dealing with a madman on the loose and I've got to try to placate him until somebody can get him secured.'
I don't know what Kasich was doing. He's a big ball of nothing fluff.

I, too, emailed Kasich. He made me so mad. When discussing Rumsfeld's comments re appeasers, he looked incredulous saying to Senor...who's Rumsfeld talking about...appeasers???
I sent Kasich several articles from FR re Kerry, Murtha, Carter, Annan and Wash Post re pulling out of Iraq or 'talking' to Iran or North Korea. Appeasers.

'Kasich doing his 'I have to be impartial...'
That's what I said in my email to Kasich. I hoped his behavior was an effort to appear "fair and balanced" because if he really doesn't see that there are appeasers among us, we are in worse shape than I thought.

I saw it
He is the perfect Democrat
He talked the whole time so no one else could get their opinion out
Being a Democrat must be like having a birth defect.
I don't think it is taught to them but they are born with it.

And for some reason most of them were plaintiff lawyers.

The 'gold standard' for liberal 'melt-downs' is still Lawrence O'Donnell's mad-foaming-at-the-mouth when discussing the Swift Boat vets opposition to John Kerry.
That lunatic's (O'Donnell) performance will be tough to beat.

Hackett clearly suffers from what happens occasionally (overwhelming majority of Marines and former Marines are very cool people)........former Marines thinking they're the s**t; toughest thing on two legs, lording it over on everyone around them, convinced they can say what they want and no one will cross 'em, etc..
Bulls**t.
I'd like to take his candy-ass out to the alley for a few minutes. Let's see what a tough guy he is.
