John Kasich is filling in for O'Reilly and has Dan Senor in studio and former marine, Iraq War vet, and failed Democratic candidate Paul Hackett on via satellite. After asking Dan about pulling out early from Iraq ("redeployment" in Dem-speak), and listening to Dan's very benign opinion, John goes to Hackett who immediately launches into an unprovoked name-calling/smearing of Dan Senor!
This guy wanted to be a Congressman? Unbeleivable!

Sheesh, what a nasty little fart!

I went ballistic and already emailed Kasich telling him he runs a lousy excuse for the Factor and that Hackett is a know-nothing. Senor was *unbelievably* composed, I would have blown a gasket at Hackett's pompous a**. The guy thinks because he had a look at the war up close and personal, and most of the rest of us haven't, we have no right to have an opinion.

Demos in Ohio forced Hackett out of Senate race in favor of Sherrod Brown.Since Brown is at least able to put on a facade, it becomes more clear why Hackett got pushed out. I believe Hackett is a lawyer. Clients, beware.

Has anyone else gotten the impression that the wackies on the left are showing themselves not being ready for primetime on a daily basis?
I wonder if there is a D internal polling that is telling them some very bad things? That would explain the crumbling.

"Kasich didn't handle it well, in my opinion."
No, he didn't. In fact, the more I listen to Kasich, the more I'm disappoined with him. Even before the debate began, Kasich was taking issue with those Republicans who were calling the Democrats appeasers...which they clearly are.

Hackett supposedly represents (as an attorney) some of the Marines accused in the Haditha "massacre". Lucky for them.
(It would not surprise me if he is keeping Murtha posted on the state of the evidence.)

All I know is that the DUmmies saw Hackett as some sort of messiah and that's enough for me to know he's a nutjob.

"I think Hackett slipped in something like an "Unterfuhrer""
He *did* call him an unterfuhrer - you heard correctly. He also accused Senor of being responsible for "wasting" $9,000,000,000. Like he spent it personally, or even had control of the wasted funds.

John Kasich is filling in for O'Reilly Kimberly Gillfoyle is filling in for John Gibson...Jim Angle is filling in for Brit Hume. Why, oh why, can't someone fill in for SHEP!?
To: Felis_irritable
I didn't watch tonight as I cannot stand it when Kasich is hosting. He is simply the worst guest-host, Gibson is better.

Indeed, Kasich should have directed the "no name-calling" statement to Hackett. And then Kasich says "I'm no fan of the war, either" in passing... Lame.

The insult (typical for a democrat, BTW) was that Dan was some sort of Fuhrer wannabe. Hackett was not only a slug on glass, he was rude and insulting ... sadly, the guest host let the slug democrat spew on and on and on. Dan Senor may never have served in the military but he was doing the best he could under the circumstances in Iraq. I'm beginning to wonder if Moose limbs can actually be civilized to the point of self governance (or if democraps can actually comprehend the threat of these primitive bastards), and that's certainly not Dan's fault or Bushes fault for wanting to believe mooselimbs could be civilized if given the chance.

Kasich was EXTREMELY ineffectual, i think he was flustered and taken aback by the viciousness of the ad hominem attack, which was entirely unprovoked! they should have cut that jack@$$ Hackett's mic off when he started that crap. Say what you want about Bill, but i think he would have cut the mic and called Hackett out on that stuff.

Kasich was doing his "I have to be impartial so I'll give the libs a free ride routine" I don't know who is worse, Kasich or Scarborough. Hackett was a complete JACKASS.
To: DTogo
I missed Hackett, but tuned in in time to hear Kasich do an abysmal job in a discussion on Plame/Wilson/Armitage. He was so clueless and groveling so much to that Rat womans that I changed the channel.
And to think Kasich thought he had what it takes to be president! HA!
